I haven't watched these but I watched some "Dateline" like show about him the other day. A lot of sick shit.
Finishing up Night Stalker now. 1. I really enjoyed it. Saw some of the complaints about some stuff being viewed as distasteful, but I didn’t feel that way tbh. The aforementioned Pac-Man thing was seemingly just thrown in with other quick “chase” references since they didn’t have a ton of footage of the chase itself. It’s rated mature and definitely does show some graphic images. 2. I actually liked the discussion about the cops and their lives. I found both of them to be interesting or else it wouldn’t have worked. I’d love to have a few beers with Salerno and hear about all the shit he’s been through. 3. I would have liked more about Ramirez’s background. They talked briefly about it at the beginning of Ep4 but should have done more with that. 4. What a colossal fuckup by the SF mayor and those who failed to pass the memo along. 5. The locals chasing his ass down and holding him for the cops was great. Totally forgot about that part of the story. 6. Lol Avia 7. Out of all history’s serial killers, Ramirez may be the one who most looked like a fucking serial killer. 8. Imagine being a groupie for a serial killer. Let alone one like Ramirez and his teeth.
I can't imagine how bad his friend (the one who gave his name) must have also sucked to hang out with someone who smelled like a goat
Yea its basically in the same format as all those MTV and VH1 shows where 4 or 5 D list celebs comment on each word and rarely are they funny Turned it off after about 10 minutes
They should bring back the top 100 songs of decades. Like 6 of us spent a day drinking and watching that shit in college one day
A movie called Outside The Wire is #1 on the most watched list in the US today. You definitely don't need to watch it. You're welcome.
Just now watching the last episode Yea the part of the citizens chasing him down and holding him is awesome
Yeah it's not great. The fact that no-one involved bothered to Google what ranks or uniforms or what the planes they're name-dropping look like kept taking me out of it.
They also said the drone pilot (who’s a 1LT) had 56,000 flight hours as a drone pilot. That’s 6 years. Or 12 years of 12 hour shifts with no days off.
Is there Money Heist discussion or thread? Just finished it and really enjoyed it although you really have to suspend your disbelief with some stuff.
Speaking of Money Heist... Staying alive for five more minutes. That is the plan. From the creators of Money Heist, Sky Rojo is coming March 19. Coral, Wendy, and Gina, three prostitutes, go on the run in search of freedom while being chased by Romeo, their pimp from Las Novias Club, and his henchmen, Moisés and Christian. Together, the women embark on a frantic, chaotic journey during which they must face dangers of all kinds and live every second as if it were their last, while strengthening their friendship and discovering the most important thing: that together they are stronger and have more options to recover their lives.
liked it as well, but it definitely dragged on too long and the voice acting for the English dubs is atrocious. I watch a lot of foreign shows with dubs while I'm working and it might have the worst of what I've actually stuck with.
Really? My wife and I found their accents (Castillian?) quite enjoyable, perhaps more enjoyable and unique than any of the other foreign stuff we might watch. Everyone has their own cup of tea, however. If it wasn't for the whole watching-in-background thing, I would recommend you go back and watch in original spanish.
why would they have that accent in the English dub? Watched in Spanish and read the subtitles. Had a hard time understanding their accents.
30 mins into a movie called The Vanished and this is the worst piece of shit that's ever aired on Netflix
I'm watching Jason Statham in Homefront aka The Transporter 7: Creole Justice. It's enjoyable so far.
The new series called Spycraft that just dropped is great if you find that stuff interesting. Highly recommend. Edit: to go along with this, the 3rd episode about "Sexspionage" is where I'm at now and it's amazing. Without spoiling anything, Anna Chapman seems like my type of lady. I lost it when they said what her first 5 US boyfriends thought of her after finding out she was a spy against the US.
I'm most of the way thru it and in my experience its pretty accurate if (for good reasons) incomplete and overstates drone utility a bit. Yeah they're fine if you're fighting insurgents but if anyone has ANY kind of anti-air capability they're basically useless.
I remember seeing something about this story a few years ago and always thought it was pretty creepy and odd, will definitely give this show a shot
Did anyone watch that end of the world George Clooney movie? Thought it was pretty bad, as is everything Netflix does that's space related for some reason.
Spycraft show is pretty interesting. One of the old guys that provides commentary killed me today when he pronounced bonafides as "bona-feedis". Now I want a documentary on his life.
