First set Med seemingly hated his racquets. Switched 2 out and couldn’t get depth on any normal rally shots. He found it late in the first and it’s been normal Med since.

 

I'm not really entertained tbh

Same, and not going to pretend to know what you do from a betting perspective. Have a hard time with any argument against Pegula from a betting perspective, but that being said, zero conviction, hence no bet.

Wish I was around for the entire tournament because would have taken Sabalenka future based on her being healthy. Looked the other day and it was pointless.

 

She told the crowd she would buy all their drinks the other night. Seems to have worked.

 

From a strategic perspective, hammering the ball flat like she often does, being off the smallest bit can cause fits (like Gauff did to her in last years’ final)

 

Having said that, Sabalenka is a fucking beast

 

Agreed you just have to stay in the point and she will eventually punt one. Like you said, easier said than done, because she’s a beast and if she’s hitting her corners, there’s zero chance.

 

And now the crowd is into it which will make it even more difficult
