Appreciate it. I'll probably bug you again as we debate itinerary. We have our flight in but haven't decided on if we're doing 8 days in CDMX, trying to do 6 + 2 in Pueblo, 4 + 4 in Oaxaca, or something else. It's a lot to bite off
Walters World YouTube videos are typically my go-to for upcoming trips, assuming he's been there and reviewed Doesn't spend minutes promoting himself, doesn't include worthless filler like 99% of travel vloggers so, and his videos are typically pretty short. He has multiple videos for each place where he touches on different things you'll need to see, do, or not do Not the coolest guy, but it's really hard to find succinct trip reviews so I care less about the messenger
Signed up for seats.aero today and it’s pretty sweet. If you know where you want to go and have miles you can set alerts for your dates and destination by carrier and cabin. Or you can just fuck around and search for whatever and see every program in one tool. Includes room.aero too which is the same for hotels. Sweet
Anyone ever been to Baros Maldives? Saw it on the old points section. Looks nice. Need to plan something for the bffs bday or 5 year anniversary next year.
For real. Time is flying. Coming up on 5 years since we were all doing shots and eating gumbo for my beautiful wedding.
I'm convinced it's the best service in the space rn. An underrated benefit is the pro discord community which has a lot of very active and super knowledgeable folks who like to help you with all kinds of esoteric nonsense specific to any particular airline/ffp and their customer service idiosyncracies, to say nothing of the abundance of credit card/churning/etc knowledge. (There are also a lot of whales who are seemingly on a different long haul every other day of the week.)
I want to go somewhere else besides Nicaragua, but just can't find the right place. Did find a few nice quaint AirBnB's while searching central america. For GoodForAnother and Name P. Redacted The bottom one has a natural tide pool if you walk down the cliff that looks lovely
every time I look at the Maldives I’m like well it just looks like a beach I can get to in way less time in the Caribbean or south or Central America or wherever
might look at Fiji or Tahiti then too. quicker flight, 11 hrs from LAX direct vs having to connect overnight in Dubai
I'm planning a Paris honeymoon if anyone has advice also visiting Blois for a couple of days i see where all the sights are on the map, but i am wondering if anyone has thoughts on best parts of the city for restaurants / hotels / overall vibes edit: it looks like this has been discussed at length in previous pages
I know you haven't made it out of Nebraska and just like to be angry ITT, but going on a vacation isn't colonizing.
I looked there last night. Puerto Escondido is too big. Some points there look amazing, but not sure it would be good for a family trip. Las Salinas and Barra de la Cruz seem great, but pretty remote.
Same. It's just so outrageous with travel, then cost once you're there and similar things much much closer Pretty sure Jamaica has these houses. Can look at Bocas Del Toro, Panama too. They have a ton of over water villas in the mangroves on their pacific side.
Don't know about Salinas, but Barra de la Cruz is boring. There's an amazing beach break, but not shit to do in town.
I finally have my nexus interview tomorrow. Took me more than 8 freaking months to just get approved for an interview.
Nebraska has more of a squiggle and both states very famously didn’t want slaves. There was a whole war about it
Yes, boring but a firing world class point break. need to find an easy mix of town, beach, and walking distance to ~2 surf breaks. I need to apparently find these in only white dominated populations to not trigger K State Husker Name P. Redacted
Rather the opposite, my apologies for that part. The part where you behave like a toddler is still on you, however.
He does that anytime someone mentions his parents and watching his kid. Ignore it. Nearly everybody has dead parents at some point.
