Mostly the same. The in screen fingerprint scanner absolutely is slower than the old school back finger print scanner but that's not as sexy. But it works 99.99999% of the time
Just checked my tracking. I mailed on the 28th, and my package is one step ahead of yours. Technically mine is flagged as late. Yours...idk with that ~week long gap.
Anyone notice that sms messages are missing from the Bluetooth settings? Noticed they weren't feeding to my car's interface when I'm not connected to Android auto anymore
my trade in got there and accepted and instead of 201 they gave me 380 because it was in better condition than I reported? screen was cracked but it wasn't badly cracked is the only thing I can think of so that's nice
Two weeks with the Pixel 7 Pro and I love it Only changes I'd make: Let me side load a keyboard. I don't really like GBoard despite the voice function being fantastic now I wish the side buttons were a little lower Two things I learned that really helped: Double pressing power button automatically goes to camera fast Face unlock really fucks things up, turn that off and you can use the lock screen better
No idea, it says it won't work. Only official ones from the app store, I guess google doesn't like .apks
Have a feeling I goofed on my trade in. I gave the box to the mail guy when he was at my house last Saturday and google hasn't even confirmed delivery yet.
Add me to floundering-return-shipment-on-my-trade-in list. Circulating in TN somewhere, 6 days so far.
Chatted google and they found the tracking number. Stuck in Nashville, but it's on the way. Feel like a real asshole for mistrusting my local stetson bennet
Took 14 days for google to receive my trade, but got the email that they're giving me $325 for my 4a with a smashed screen. They estimated $300.
Thanks for the bump. Went ahead and ordered a 512GB P7P and trading in a 256GB P6P. Was kinda planning on sticking with my P6P after I missed out on the $200 pre-order bonus or whatever that was but with the $150 off and $35 more on the P6P trade-in now (was $540, now $575) I pulled the trigger.
Nice, assuming you don't have a larger storage version, I think this price is lower than the launch one.
Ordered. I was fully on board with keeping my P6P but it kind of failed me on a recent trip. I feel like my battery is getting worse and the shitty modem really caught up to me. Almost left me stranded in a European city with no idea how to navigate back to my hotel.
Looks like I'll be getting the pixel watch with my $200 google store credit since it's marked down to $299
Thanks for the bump. Going to pull the trigger on a P7, upgrading from a P4a. My question is around SIM card. My current one isn't 5G. There is a $200 price difference between unlocked and Verizon P7. Can I just get an unlocked and a $6 sim card off Amazon? Or is Verizon going to make me jump through hoops to get it activated.
Yeah, whatever you do, do not buy the Verizon locked phone. You can use the unlocked phone just the same on Verizon.
Best Buy has a nice trade in deal on Pixels going on especially if you have an old iPhone lying around. I have an iPhone 11 that I might use this on. https://slickdeals.net/f/16195612-g...nly-39-with-an-iphone-xr-trade-in-at-best-buy Pulled from the thread Trade-In Values, as of 11/17 8am Pacific: $70 iPhone SE (2nd generation) $250 Pixel P4 64GB $245 Pixel P4a 5G $290 Galaxy S20 FE 5G $300 iPhone 13 mini $330 Galaxy S21 5G $450 iPhone 13 Pro $460 iPhone XR $515 iPhone XS Max $525 iPhone 11 256 $530 iPhone 12 mini $550 iPhone 13 Pro Max $570 iPhone 12
Got my Pixel 7 Pro yesterday. I've been using it nonstop since maybe 7 pm last night. Couple thoughts. 1) fucking hell the setup took forever. Once it got to the copying app portion (190 apps) it took several hours. Kind of annoying but it's a once process. Just don't be dumb like me and start it 45 minutes before you head out to work 2) I wasn't expecting it to feel like much of an upgrade from my P6P but holy fuck this thing is BUTTERY smooth. The display is so much better that I'm actually besides myself. 3) I knew the day would come but switching phones was the end of YouTube Vanced for me. It's a brutal loss because I spend ~15-20 hours a week at work doing nothing but watching YouTube so I can't really live without it. It pushed me to figure out Revanced and I got that up and going. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, shame on you.
I never had the 6 but I've skipped charging on my phone twice in the last month because it still had 75%+ at bedtime I've gotten down under 30% in one day just once, and I'm a reasonably heavy user (although it's been a pretty low-use month)
Revanced was mostly easy once I figured out wtf was going on and it is on another level from YouTube Vanced. Highly suggest making the move. I can post a tutorial from reddit if you're interested
Vanced = hacked YouTube with all sorts of unlocked and customized features. Want no ads? Disable them. Want to download videos and audio? Enable that patch. Want to turn off all comments? Enable that patch. Want to skip the sponsored segment of a video? Enable sponsor block so you don't have to listen to SkillShare ads for the 1000th time. Etc.
Who is your carrier? They will have to reset your messaging most likely. I added two IPhones to my AT&T account last year and this exact thing happened. They changed the Sim cards and reset it to get it working.
I had to call. They basically turned off and then turned back on the MMS and it worked. It's a known issue she said.
