Supposedly there’s to be some news being announced on the 15th of June. I’m thinking I’ll hold until then barring a huge jump.
robinhood asked me 3 questions basically if i’ve ever given financial advice professionally (nope) and if i have experience in options trading (also no), but i passed
3$, but I’m guessing it won’t quite reach that until the next announcement in a week, so we should know more than hopefully.
Thoughts on XELA? Doesn't seem to be doing a ton, but the last time I gave up on a penny early it was BIOC which then took off.
I dumped them today for a small loss. I spoke with someone there that’s higher up and looking to leave. I don’t like their future.
Cross posting since everyone is buying DGLY itt Strategy I'm trying on a small scale before scaling it a bit is covered calls, which a few people have asked about: Buy 100 DGLY @4.00 ($400) Sell 1 DGLY 6/19 $5 Call at $1.08 ($108) So if on 6/19: Any price $5 or above: $208 profit ($100 from the stock going up, $108 from selling the call) Any price $4-5: $108 profit plus I have a stock that increased in value, I can sell a call on the next option window to decrease my cost even more Any price $2.92 to $4: $108 profit, some of which I lost on a stock that decreased, I can sell a call on the next option window to decrease my cost even more Any price $2.92 and below: It's like I owned the stock and lost some money, but $108 less than I would've, I can sell a call on the next option window to decrease my cost even more I might miss out on it going to $30 in the next two weeks but it's a very safe play compared to some others
A stock like this is popular for its ceiling. So as long as you won't kick yourself if it goes to $20 I think it's worth it. Personally, I only bought it to do the covered call since the premium is so high
You buy 100 shares (or own 100 shares) of the actual stock and then sell 1 call at the bid (or a little higher and wait for it to fill)
Not sure what brokerage you're using but I've had no problem on any of the three I've used. Quick sanity check: You're selling 5 or fewer calls? You have no open offers to sell? You're allowed to write options on your account?
No open orders. Approved for options. Error I get: Order rejected:This order may result in an oversold/overbought position in your account. Please check your position quantity and/or open orders.
Anybody jump on TOPS or VAL with all of the energy in SHIP? Scoped VAL last week in the $0.50-0.60 range and couldn't talk myself into it. Currently up 135% today and sitting at $2.15. TOPS was less impressive, doubled it's price in a day last week and is collapsing now.
hello yes i’m still in the xela, took $250 out of it to pay for my nov dgly call i mentioned earlier, but i’m still in it and hopeful it’ll go up don’t have anything to base this off of other than zack morris saying to hold it long a couple weeks ago
I just hold stuff to oblivion now. I had a couple that I unloaded and then they took off. They all eventually have to take off. Right.
That's rough. The first ride on Luckin before the fraud I took it from around $10-20 up to $50 before the allegations came out and I, being a very stable genius, decided to hold until it dropped to $4.
