To be fair in one of their earlier updates I believe it said they were fine financially but people asked about a way to do something anyway so they set that up. I’d hope Bill did/does something for them and we just honestly never hear about it.
I made a SGP for him to have a big day. Probably should have just taken his yards. It was sound advice tho

Man, it's so sad. Dude was phenomenal at what he did and on my short list of must read/listens, but I think the grace and honesty that he projected throughout his diagnosis and treatment is a real legacy.
bill barnwell must be quiet quitting i thought his podcast was inactive during the offseason because he was a big in-season pod guy but it's monday afternoon and he doesn't have a pod up. so strange.
nice, i'll check it out. i basically never load espn.com unless i'm linked there from twitter. it's crazy to me that espn doesn't really care about the podcasting space. mina is now x2 a week but barnwell looks like he'll stay just once a week. bizarre.
anyone listen to the ringer nfl show today? austin, the guy they hired from pff, was talking about the gb-minn game and said, "[christian watson] attacks the ball like an amputee." and the other cohost laughed. guessing that wouldn't fly if anyone actually listens
Ya, I don’t listen to those guys. Or really any of the ringer gambling show instead of the house / sharp episode (ya, I know). They really hired a bunch of zeros
I enjoyed Rusillo’s interview with Chris Fowler. His story on cussing out Dick Vitale in a commercial break was great.
Yeah. It’s one thing not to follow college, or apparently know anything about the draft other than players your team is linked to, but it’s a completely different thing to open mic on a pod about that sport like you know what you’re talking about.
from the thread, not his first time doing something like this. I know we bag on him endlessly and thats part of the fun but all in all it seems he means well, just doesnt get 'it' sometimes (A Truly Sad Week in America, Plus 2005 Redraftables!) https://www.medill.northwestern.edu...rolling-in-the-sports-journalism-program.html
