pretty pretty good, smooth, hazy and takes you to flavortown
Aside from the local breweries we barely get anything good here. I was ecstatic last month when I went to San Diego and saw Pliny everywhere.
As far as the regional stuff I’m a fan of Ola, Big Island Brewhaus, Maui Brewing, and Aloha Beer Co. Kona Brewing is uninspiring but shockingly cheap.
Currently making the most of freebies at the airport lounge.
Tfw you flip a bottle of Samuel for a bunch of bottles and you’re finally getting your hands on Port Barrel Damon and Birth of Tragedy: Kochere
Port Damon is my top most wanted one off stout ever so if it blows I’m gonna cry
It’s probably wonderful.
My fav local brewery (Dominion City) had a beer that will be distributed all over Europe for this month. I’m proud of them. They’ve been killing it as of late
Scooped 8 cans today
Best beer trade mail day ever
Civil Disobedience 25
Madness & Civilization 10
Birth of Tragedy: with Akmel Nuri Ethiopian Coffee aged in Bourbon Barrels
And my absolute number one most wanted stout Batch 1 Port Barrel Aged Damon
Traded one bottle of Samuel for all this
I'm not a big fan of port or the biggest fan of HF stouts but it's a nice beer. You will enjoy it.
Side note, have you tried Samuel?
Only had two bottles, one I just traded and one I’m saving for a special occasion so not yet
Nice. I traded for one back when it released. Going to open it later this year for my brother's wedding. Love me some HF saisons.
Anybody have brewery/beer bar recommendations for Brooklyn? Think we’re gonna train in for the PSU-Ole Miss basketball game at Barclays the night before Thanksgiving to get a break while back visiting CT for Thanksgiving.
We have a closet reserved at the Freehand currently.
Other Half most certainly.
Is TØRST still a big deal?
Threes, Finback, Grimm, Sixpoint. Looks like Mikkeller has a spot nearby. I've never been to NYC, so hard to know how convenient any of these will be. But OH is king.
Other Half will definitely be a stop.
Big fan of Blind Tiger on Bleecker. Went to As Is in July. I haven’t been out at night in NYC in about 5 years. And back then everybody wanted to hit clubs.
What did you give up?
Other half, blind tiger is awesome with great pizza across the street. Plenty of other spots I’m sure
Maman plus a couple of other Side Project bottles. I forget exactly what now.
The amount of choice is such a problem. Our game is at 5 though which is nice. Should be able to grab dinner right after it and hit some more spots.
Don’t have anything else to do?
A. Get drunk with people from high school
B. Get drunk with my parents
C. Get drunk, visit some great breweries, and watch PSU disappoint me
Had a Pliny the other day for the first time in like 7 years. Not trying to be cunty or anything but it was disappointing
oh my this is good
You know the name of the brewery isn't meant to dictate how you take the picture. It's just the name of the brewery.
Tall Tales in MD
Other Half in Brooklyn
Place kicks ass, and the beers obviously speak for themselves. Enjoy.
Bet that Helles is crispy af
Never had any.
Making mini flights left and right. Hours if 8-9%'ers gonna be tough

I'm in Williamsburg now
Thanks for the invite. We ALWAYS hang out at breweries
This place kinda sucked btw. Burley Oak is where it’s at, just picked up 6 four packs. Obsessed.
Big thanks to 09knight for the porch bomb today. Can't wait to crack a couple of these open later.
Good day to go to Vermont and get 3 of these babies
Celestial Triple stars is a tasty beverage
Looks like I won’t be up for the pac 12 games tonight
Most action you've had in years lol
Say it again, champ
Sorry my dial-up went out
Jeez taking your phone off the hook just to be mean to me
I'm burning through my AOL CDs over here
I live next to Rochester Mills...should I be happy about this?
