Traveling central and south america for a few months, I'll be back in Seattle once summer returns

Busted out a ‘19 MvB to enjoy with a 2” thick grilled pork chop.

 

I’m normally against boneless chops but that looks outstanding. Did you sous vide -> grill?

 

Thank you. Wet brine for 6 hours then grilled at ~500.

 

Can I get that wet brine recipe?

 

quart water, 1/4c salt, 1/4c sugar, black peppercorns, smashed garlic cloves, dried rosemary.

 

Just had a random 6 pack delivered for the game

 

how was it? These guys are about to launch some markets in the north east

 

All of their beers are fantastic. Their definitely my favorite brewery in the Deep South.

 

Degausser do you get any Two Tides stuff down there? I’ve been so impressed with their output recently…

Not that I'm aware of, but they aren't a brewery I'm familiar with, so it's possible I've just overlooked their stuff. I'll keep an eye out.

 

They’re out of Savannah. If you like smoothie-style sours, there’s are as good as anyone’s imo.

 

Sitting in a taproom in Flagstaff. Very strange music selection. We’ve gone from the Scorpions, to Steve Earle, to Midnight Oil.

 

If they play the Eagles next then you're actually in Winslow, Arizona.

 

Drinking a beer after cleaning the boat is always nice. I couldn’t find any good sours at Rouses but this is pretty refreshing.

I'm a slut for fruited IPAs and sours these days. I still haven't tried a sour IPA . A fruited sour IPA would just rock my world

 

Quite delicious and had no idea I would be drinking it tonight.

 

Houston Haziest and a smoked juicy Lucy burger with pork belly. Burger was so good
