I’ve completed all the turn specific goals in conquest and now just working on finishing it. That will get me Wood. Getting him to P5 will be enough to put me at 5 short of Chapman and I’ll hit 25K at least once for 3 more stars doing that, if not twice. Not really bothered if I don’t get Cano and Donaldson
I think I've done 4 or 5 of the moments, lost Showdown about half a dozen times, but haven't messed with Conquest. Why is this Conquest so much harder than others?
Most don’t have many goals to capture strongholds by specific turns but this one had 5 of them plus 2 or 3 to steal X number of fans by Y turn. Real just forces you to play on higher difficulty than others. Playing a few in HoF meant when I dropped down to AS that the pci seemed massive

Weird how we're all just cracked with certain cards. I raked with Votto's 90 overall for a long time. Now his 99 is just dumb, HR e ery 3.6 ab's lol. Idk what it is about his swing but it's perfect for me. Idk why I don't have it on my cap, might need to fix that.

If you just want to win the championship/don’t go for other achievements, you’ll have to win probably 14-16 3 inning games (out of 28, you can quit out of the rest) to make the playoffs and then win two best of five series. You can play on any difficulty.
As far as I can tell, I’m one of the first people on Twitter saying one of the mystery missions. Gomes liked my tweet (I did tag him) 2 HRs in 1 game with Finest cards on All Star or Higher
I'll never do this again in my life. Down 3, hit 4 HR in the 9th and I was actually on all of them lol. Dude had owned my soul with the screwball, changeup, curveball mix with an occasional fastball mixed in.
I’ve bought 2K before and just didn’t get into it like other games I’m also not excited about FIFA at all so still just grinding away
2k is only fun if you link up with a squad for online games imo. Some people play MyTeam, which is kinda like DD in The Show, but I've never payed. I have a group of about 8 of us that play regularly. Any night I get on, others are on and we play 3v3 or 5v5. It's like RTTS where you can make a custom player how you want and then grind to max him out. Your limited on high you can make the player. You can't be great in shooting, playmaking, and defense. The builder is pretty good this year. If you're a 99 shooter, you're going to struggle bad in other areas.
That sounds a lot like pro clubs in FIFA which was always my favorite mode to play. Up to 11 vs 11 of users. But with that having more positions, there would be cpu guys playing as well
In 2k, you can play 3v3 and it's a little more arcade-ish. Crazy dunks and shit like that. You play to 21 so games are quick. 5v5 plays more sim-like. You play four 5 minute quarters so games take 45 minutes. I enjoy the team aspect of it. I've been playing with some of these guys for 6-7 years. I don't know them but I know them, you know?
100% know what you mean. The clubs thing was playing with dudes from TMB so guys I knew for years from the board, texting and playing with multiple nights a week. Someone crashed with me for a night after we went to a game together the first time actually met in person
Got Posada and Finley from the new program. Probably gonna get Hank and a SP and that'll be it for card collecting for me. More than enough to play co-op whenever someone wants to do that. Was considering a WS run in ranked with the Finest Utley coming out but that card is barely better than a superfactored 97 Utley (I think it's just power vs LH that got a decent boost)
So far have grabbed: Young, Durham, Pudge, Glavine, Morgan, Gwynn, and Posada. Planning to get: Lee, Rickey, Oswalt, Prince, Aaron, Dawson. Loved prior Prince and Dawson so excited for elite versions
Oh yes, Ozzie is another I’m planning to get and looking forward to. Also, yeah I have Jimmy. Got him when I finished Clemente program. Milestone Clemente almost to P5 then swap them out. Almost to POTM Mookie as well then go back to working on Wood to P5 to get to Chapman. Not sure I’ll get to the other guys. I was very well prepared for this collection, was under on a couple sections but was over prepared on a few as well and was able to sell at crazy prices (70K net for All Star Castilla is so dumb) so I’m sitting on a mountain of stubs still
Edgar Martinez and Shawn Green have crushed it for me in this event. Racked up 8 wins in a row tonight. Rewards rewind packs being choose 2 players is pretty solid. Got ~$90K from each one with Lorenzo and Dontrelle. Got quite a few of the new guys now. Green, Hank, Edgar, and Posada all batting over .500 so far. Also had no idea they put in a 98 version of Nick Swishers HRD card that's +7 across the board in batting from his 95 card that I loved. Very underrated switch hitting card that'll probably be 1B for me for a while.
