Don’t worry, bud. One day you’ll get over 200lbs and be a real boy
Is there an “Official Workout Sweats” of TMB?
it's okay to be sub-200, i wouldn't brag about it with a letterman's jacket
he has an IG of course, can't remember his name though.

Slowest pull of me life
I was proud of myself doing this a few times with 150#, fuck
my lower back tightened up watching that. i dont miss doing stones.
How are you liking the Juggernaut AI?
bigjrock you started peaking this week, right? How’s it going?
i decided to pause my programming when my back locked up. i was already struggling to fit all the work in, 5 days a week and needing a minimum 2 hours to complete every session, i was at least a week behind schedule.
2 hours? Damn. You must have been doing the Powerbuilding?
So far, so good. 450 on squat and 485 on deadlifts flew pretty good in this first week.
i switched to powerlifting after I finished the 3 months of powerbuilding. the S/B/D all called for 7 or 8 sets, the first week of strength block. i increased my fatigue level to see if it lowered the set volume and the conventional deadlift day was 1x6/5x6 deadlift, 4x6 pin squat at 8 rpe, then hamstring curls 3x12. which still took me 2 hours, maybe i'm just slow.
I’m with you. Squatting and deadlifting takes forever
i usually rest for 3-5 minutes in between heavy sets. just the squats and deads can take like 45 minutes.
I’ve started to split my heavy dead’s out on a different day from the accessories cause it just took so long. My day 1 is a Sunday so having my squats and accessories wasn’t a big deal. But I’m on a time crunch during the week.
Squatted 405# for 3 gross singles. 315#4x3
Full on cut mode activated.
Already been dieting but I'm cracking down harder. First order Trifecta food delivery is coming tomorrow. Went with 2 meals a day /7. And want to see how it goes. Plan on also just making crazy amount of chicken and meal prep hardcore leading up til Mexico. I wish I didn't fuck it up and cut sooner but whatever. Bought a GoRuck back and a 30 pound plate to finally add in some conditioning work. I just can't bring myself to step on a treadmill. I just feel so lame.
Buy a sanddune and strap heavy weights to yourself and get in great conditioning/back work.
Tweaking your back and catching some sinus/flu shit 2 weeks out is not ideal
i have forgotten what it's like to not have a back tweak.
365 on bench was a little tougher than I was expecting this morning. That might be heavier than I want for an opener.
It is not. Get rested and well, man. Don't waste the entire block pushing too hard for the final weeks while you are sick.
Thanks. Hopefully I can salvage next week and be good to go. Sleeping, eating, and doing a ton of unilateral stuff to help rehab.
485 flew on squat this morning. Think that will be my opener.
Pulled 565 for my top single @8 feeling like shit. Everything pointed to today being down so I think I’ve got a big pull brewing when I’m healthy next week
We'll see. My strategy has been to try to make the previous meet's third attempt, the next meet's 2nd attempt. Since I didn't hit the 501 until the 3rd at the last one, I have to see how much I want to jump on my 2nd. We'll see how the next couple of weeks go.
Makes sense. You can take a 7.5kg jump on each attempt and go 220-227.5-235 and that would be a nice PR.
Thor did a double of 1003, hopefully gets that 501 to trigger that feud even more.
Can’t believe the speed in which this came up.
It flew. That’s after squatting 771 too. He’s gonna squat 800 and pull a grand this year
shocked by how easy that looked. wow
stefi squated 446 @114
They need to make sumo it's own lift. It's becoming a joke.
Man, y'all are some big boys. I took 2019 off to do ultramarathons and lost like 35lbs of muscle. Don't mind me over here doing body weight shit.
Pullups, pushups, step-ups, single-leg DLs, L-sits, hypers, that kind of shit. Trying to thru-hike the AT this summer so not on a training regime per se, just keeping active.
I can’t shed Coop’s content in my YouTube feed. He’s shelling out serious money or blowing someone at YouTube, maybe both.
Has he ever moved a bar? Guy just seems like a collector with an unironically ridiculous mustache
Nice. I did something similar. Went from 260 down to 220. Started running more, doing a bunch of shit on the pull up bar with rings, etc.
Going to get back into it this summer. My oldest son (10) said the magic words..."Dad, I want to get stronger." Feel like the garage gym budget will increase now that I can blame it on my son needing the 'proper' equipment.
I’ll always be afraid of exploding tibias when sled videos are linked.
It's fun but having a max DL of like 155 isn't.
yeah, but if you can maintain that weight until you are 90-something you would be the strongest person in your age bracket.
that's what i am targeting.
Welcome back, friend
Guy bench's with the ladies oly bar. Bangs the bar every set against the rack.
Leaves the bar loaded and walks off.
I miss this thread
Saw this in a video and thought of you guys:
The Massenomics guys are hilarious
I’m built to deadlift.
But bench press now...yikes. But hey, I’ve progressed on different push up variations.
I hit a top squat single of 550 @9. Went for a triple at 505 and just ran out of gas on the third rep and failed. A huge PR double and first I’ve ever repped over 500 so that’s neat. 12 days out.
