Idk. Wasn't a flex, more of a hmmm I'm the exact opposite I'm usually just doing it for cardio and do single handed stuff. Swings, cleans, jerks, thrusters, rows, etc
Been a while since a did a solid bro workout. Going PPL for the next while. Maybe until Thanksgiving. Been doing 5x5 types or modified with other lifts/oly stuff for a bit.
Grabbed these last week and used them Thursday. I was able to go deeper on hacks and presses with no pain whatsoever. Never used sleeves before but the quality seems real solid
https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cv3bIx1rTDQ/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== always loved these strongman pressing events
The level absurdity to not only conceptualize it, but then to actually commission someone to fabricate it…is an impressive amount of meathead.
Also have a car leg press Think it’s pretty cool doing car/kegs for a deadlift or squat but a leg press or that, meh
would rather see a back lift for crazy weight than a leg press. also you could use crazier implements in a back lift.
For the record, I’m not hating at all. I love it. It’s just hilarious, to Eric The Viking ‘s point, that not only do they dream it up but it ends up being a thing
Day 1 PPL Split was interesting. I haven't done pure incline press in a while. Used 2 45 and a 35 bumper to make my incline bench Worked, but need a real one. Doing flat bench after Incline felt really weird. Almost like I was decline. Took a second to get used to that. Also, haven't done OH press the same day I've done bench in a while. First set of OH I almost pushed the bar out and forward vs up.
Incline only needs to be very slight. Anything higher and you’re utilizing too much front delt. All the stationary inclines you see in gyms are way too high. you probably only need 1 45lb plate/bumper to reach a necessary incline
I was trying to do some trigonometry to calculate the rise/run and get the angle of the bench. It seemed close to 30* or so, which is what I was aiming for. It was def less than 45
Learned I can pull 500 after a 2 week vacation with food poisoning and barely eating the last week. Lower back throbbing a bit and will probably take a while to recover but glad to not feel worthless.
IDK if this the right thread, but Meal-Prep-Macros-TikTock has me hooked. I've got so many meals in the backlog.
I legit had no idea what you were talking about then saw Loz’s shirt watching Shaw Classic preview and went down that rabbit hole
Bought REP AB-5000 zero gap bench because I'm sick of bouncing all over the place on 9" width, hope it makes a difference
Shaw only half a point out of first place after day 1. A whole lot of things in his favor but would be crazy if he could beat this Mitch Hooper. Tom massively fucked up on log and out of contention.
He absolutely deserved it too, looked kinda close to prime self and not broken down version of last 4 years Worth the price of watching, Hooper was great too and Tom had 4/8 wins but log killed him.
I watched this multiple times mainly because watching Terry Crews sing A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton is one of the few things in life that brings me joy.
I wish I would’ve know about this I would’ve paid you a little side money to supply weights that actually weighed a little bit more than they said they did. Maybe some faulty pins too
Had that day today when that calorie deficit puts you on your fucking ass. Everything hurts and don’t wanna move I have no idea how keto is a thing.
Bc it artificially dehydrates you bc there are near no carbs in your system holding on to that water. So you look skinnier and weigh less almost solely bc of water weight. Stop doing keto and your weight will shoot up a ton. I was heavy on it last fall and got down to 187. Came back from a trip and reverted back to maintain with carbs and shot up to 205. Right now I weight 210 and I'm wearing the same 34" shorts I just barely got into last fall at 190. I look drastically fuller in terms of muscularity and volume, more defined and slight striations, and waste us actually slightly smaller. Keto isn't a good long term diet
My only contribution to this thread is that I’ve been using ChatGPT for my training routine. It’s ann interesting concept. I basically followed this site’s prompts.
