Really interesting what they’re doing with last chance kitchen but I feel like he’s destined to get into the main competition at this point bc they’ll want that curveball on the main show
I wonder how much was the very first guy breaking whatever contract he had to sign, and they used the "alternate" as some standby figure.
no story, just me rumor mongering. That food waste San Fran chef was a prick who could not handle Tom's critiques.
Ah I got ya. I was hoping he did something dumb instead of just being a really annoying top chef contestant. Certainly not sad he seems to be completely off the show never to be mentioned again
The challenges have been weird. Team challenge based on duality inspired by frank lloyd wright is a stretch
I think it’s the changes and the chefs. I like Kristen Kish and think she’s going to be great, but it’s a major change. And the chefs all seem to kinda suck. Maybe it’s editing or bc of who he’s going up against, but Soo seems like he’ll immediately be top 3 or 4 as soon as he’s on the show.
Agree, and I like Kristen too. It's a different caliber of chefs, I feel like. Top Chef has been one of my favorite shows for so long. I'd hate to think it's run its course.
I kinda feel like Soo was brought in by the producers when they realized Rasika might be the only good chef in the cast
He’s definitely a crowd favorite. I don’t know if he has the physical strength to do it, but it’s great to see.
Yeah I think he can def get to top 5 and maybe finals but he's not going to win. Either way it's really impressive and also sad.
