so glad i didn’t let the good start get me worked up just going .500 over this stretch would’ve made my glass half full, but boy oh boy is this a mess
It’s ridiculous how much the Kendrys Morales injury completely altered the direction of this franchise.
Pujols acquisition felt a lot like the Mo Vaughn one. Hopefully that means a World Series championship eventually too.
Should they trade Ohtani? Year and a half left. I probably wouldn’t but just not sure what they should do.
they can definitely keep him long term arte is a garbage human/ owner but he isn’t afraid to spend money if he knows it’ll make money i think his thinking was get a massive haul for him now
He’s the face of the team - even more than Trout. His starts are the reason that we’ve been the “free game of the day” out of market more this season than ever before. I wouldn’t get rid of him unless I thought we couldn’t resign him.
My birthday is in a few weeks if anyone wants to get me this: (I’ll just buy it myself and give it to my kids to give to me.)
i don’t think sandoval has ever worked an at bat without a 3 ball count any sort of command and he’d be a strong 2-3 starter
everybody fawns over gubicza and the commentary but i can’t fucking stand him (so glad rojas is gone too) it’s always “if this ball is a bit more over the plate, that’s a great spot” or “ a little more outside and that ball is getting crushed”. it didn’t happen so stop with the fucking hypothetical shit. then yesterday they’re talking about the infield dribbler that started the 4th inning and the bloop double the next inning as if the 40 pitches and 4 walks didn’t contribute to the rough inning. just venting but fuck i hate listening to our broadcasts. also i remember us shutting out teams early in the season was all the rage a month later and now we get shutout every 4th game
never mind don’t even think i’m gonna put myself thru this one i hate fucking walks i’ll never understand big leaguers not being able to throw strikes
