Split it with my dad and get it a few months out of the year. Yep that’ll happen eventually. Already told this guy I want the black one since it’s more attainable. I’ll get the steel/gold champagne dial datejust through him in the not too distant future…just waiting on him to say he has it.
I love the diver 65 and Oris’ ethos but it’s gonna be fascinating to see what happens with their more up-market watches. That price is BB58 territory and not even that far from a pre-owned Seamaster.
I already have a green watch and I’m in need of a neutral black daily wearer, but damn I would not pass the opportunity to buy that green bezel sub. Just saw one in person, love the shade of green they went with.
Gotcha. I’m waiting on an oyster bracelet version, assume that’s slightly less in demand. I prefer the look of jubilees/presidential on the less sporty models.
Love the Batman GMT. Not ready to part with the needed $ to get one quite yet, but may try to quench my thirst with the 38mm SKX013 based Islander homage (I know, copy.. ) to see if I enjoy the look for a year or two before committing. I'll drool at the real deal until then...
I took about 20 pics at red lights on my way to Jersey Mike's and got lucky with the palm trees in that one lol
Anyone have a rec for a good black rubber strap? Looking for one to swap out with this bracelet to change things up every once in a while.
I do love my blue BB58, but damn that gilt is classic. As is always the case, the answer is: all the watches.
Speaking of "all the watches," I have somewhat of a dilemma. So far, I've only been bugging slogan119 The wife's wanting to get me another piece... I have a few ideas, but nowhere near being able to make a decision. What I'm considering: JLC Reverso Classic Duo Face GO Panomatic Lunar GS White Birch, Spring Drive JLC & GO fulfill more of a "need" in the form of a dress watch. But I've wanted a GS for some time. Their finishing & movements are incredible, but it's so similar to other pieces I own. Decisions, decisions
There's a greater chance I save for the Patek this is trying to be than buy this, or any other, Breitling.
