Damn. Should've booked a flight across the pond. Would kill to be drinking in the pubs in Wrexham tonight.
When the commentator on the stream was talking about how the fans had to raise over £100k in 7 hours to save the team and people were selling cars and stuff to contribute… damn it’s a great night for those people
Same. They have plenty of League Two (or above) players already on the roster so I’m not sure how much they actually need but I’m sure there will be some
Who are the American owners and what Premier League team(s) do they own that the sub-tweet part of that is alluding to?
I forgot about that clown, but I think it’s directed at all of them that simply view clubs as a business and not a pillar of the community
Is that primarily exclusive to American owners in the Premier League compared to others? Are their teams shit?
Yeah I know that. Was curious about the saltiness referenced in the tweet about American owners of Premiere League teams. Didn't realize there were as many as people listed.
No the majority owner is family friends with Leeroy Jenkins! edit. Maybe he is British. How does Leeroy Jenkins! know them
I had a feeling that is what you were thinking when you said that. He is British. He may or may not have had relations with a younger relative.
Bournemouth is now owned by an American(or group of them) as well. Apparently the majority owner is moving over there full time, which is cool.
Was hoping to see more celebration content, especially from the pub. Maybe they’ll start coming out today
His chest cam falling off with 10 min. left and him putting it back on during the match is ballsy. I probably would have just said screw it at that point.
I doubt it will be much. This team could get promoted from league two pretty easily. If they want to get out of league one they’ll need a new defense
OZ texted this earlier. They cut to that box like 50 times during the match and I didn’t see but Paul Rudd and the Russos were there:
If any of you want to go to Chelsea vs Wrexham presale access code is CHEWXMFCS #Wrexham AFC #Chelsea
Looking at the presale options, I’m guessing most of the seats are going to be available at the general public sale?
Had a promoted click bait article pop up today titled, chances Wrexham gets promoted to Premier league in next five years! didn't need to click an article to see the number zero.
while I don’t think it’s likely, Luton are in a playoff push 8 yrs removed from the National League. They went up two straight years from L2 to the Championship.
Stockport is in L2 playoffs and missed auto promotion by 4 points. I def think Wrexham can go up to L1 next season. They’re gonna have talent lining up to come play.
I’ll be interested to see if wrexham work out a deal with espn+ for their matches next season. Efl clubs can sell streams to their matches to non UK people
