Are we going to have a Wrexham thread now that the takeover seems to be going ahead? Will be interesting to keep a tab on them going forward.
It’s incredible. Deny the most foundational premise of capitalism (private ownership) to build its most effective weapon (branding).
Nothing could top how the GOP are able to trick people that depend on social security benefits for their very survival that Socialism is evil.
Need a win vs already relegated Kings Lynn to secure a place in the promotion playoff, but a draw would be ok as well if Bromley don’t beat Aldershot

One point from first place and automatic promotion with 4 matches left including vs Boreham Wood in 10 minutes. Stockport does have a game in hand but would be cool to see Wrexham win the title and go up. Promotion playoffs from the National League to League Two are a wild ride so who know what would happen there
Boreham Wood down to 10 men and Wrexham just scored, but Stockport are also up on Chesterfield so looks like form will hold if these results stand. Chesterfield is fighting to hold on to the 7th place playoff spot so you'd think they'll keep the pressure on Edit: ooof BW gets an 89th minute penalty to tie it
Battle between 1st and 2nd and Wrexham lead 2-0 at halftime. All tied on points and GD if the result holds. Only one automatic promotion place from the National League so this is huge with two matches left after this
Stockport beat Torquay 1-0 so it's simple on Saturday: For Wrexham to win the trophy and automatic promotion: Stockport must lose to 4th place Halifax town AND Wrexham must beat 8th place Dag & Red, who themselves need to win to have a chance at the last playoff spot If Stockport wins or draws, or if Wrexham draws or loses, Stockport win the trophy and automatic promotion.
Not sure what happened but FotMob posted a 90th+6 minute equalizer in the FA Trophy championship match then took it away.
Currently tied 3-3 with Grimsby Town in the playoff semifinal. 75th minute and another Grimsby goal down 3-4
Pasta88 I see in the replies to that tweet that someone is saying Wrexham stole “Can’t Help Falling in Love” from Sunderland. I know Columbus Crew does it also, so assuming they definitely stole it from Sunderland but just curious if you know how long Sunderland has done it?
I don’t know what their goal is. It sounds like each of them put in 1m when they bought the team. Between the tiktok sponsorship and fx show they will be turning a profit. Their expenses probably look like a lot of the bigger teams in league one
I enjoyed the first 2 episodes but it’s fairly formulaic as far as “behind the scenes of a pro sports team” shows go. Now that we are past the 20-21 season I hope we get more into the building of the team and less into halftime speeches and game action
I really liked the first two episodes. Compared to the Premier League versions where a player can suck and they are still a millionaire, so much more is on the line. Hard to feel sorry for millionaires. Genuinely gutted for these guys I don't know.
