I ordered it and paid through PayPal. They sent me an email that took me back to their website. From there they asked if I'd like a call or text to get a verification code. Once I got the code I entered on the same page they asked how I'd like the code. Once I input the code they showed the Microsoft code. Once I had the code I went to my X1 and went to store and then went to redeem a code. I did this and the game was in my "ready to download" folder.

Apparently Call of Duty Infinite Warfare is going to be free to play from December 15th - 20th. It's supposed to go live today but I can't find it anywhere on the Xbox Store for free. This is great because I will never buy this trash game with its money grabbing developer but I am curious to see how it plays.
I splashed $60 for the version with that and MW remastered. totally worth it, but i'm not a hardcore gamer and am easily amused/impressed.

Pretty sure you have to open the EA Access app to access whatever game you want to play, which would require internet
You definitely don't have to open the app to play the games. I just click on the games in my library (after they've been downloaded obviously) and they open right up.
Just tried it. Yes you have to be online to play. Oh well, still have BF1, Halo and Assassin's Creed to play while I'm at my parents.

Don't think there's a TF2 trial anymore? Thought it was just a free weekend like COD is doing? Also, I would be down for Overwatch. I rage on that game though so no guarantees to playing it for a long time.
TF2 trial is the EA Access one. I still have 10 hours on that. Let me know what game though in case I have to download anything. Edit: forgot I also have R6:S but I've only done the "PVE" games, and not the PVP.

I use the standard Microsoft ones. Plugs into the Xbox One. Must have it game a lot because they pay for themselves very quickly.
