Yeah I was looking to order last night and then I decided to search apple stores near raleigh since I'll be down there next weekend. All of them had 7 in stock.
I am a big fan of the zoogue cases. they are pretty minimal and also have been sturdy in my experience (though Im admittedly not that hard on my phones)
Anyone with a Jet black yet? Wondering about slipperiness, cases, etc. I always have a case, but really what is the point in waiting 2 months for jet black if I'm going to slap a case over it anyway? Probably going to try going without.
I've been using a wallet case that also has a kick stand for my 6. Don't know if the wallet case for the 7+ will be too big or not
Perfect. Couldn't find it on Amazon but Spigen is offering 25% off iPhone 7 cases and free domestic shipping.
Are there any cases out there for the 6+ that can do a good job protecting the screen when dropped? Gf has smashed 3 of them now since first getting it in July 2015. I told her to get an Otterbox.
(First post from my 7+ 256) Just got it at the ATT store today and they installed the GadgetGuard. It's $40 but lifetime warranty. Since I don't buy insurance I'm ok with this.
Swear by Zagg glass protectors. My wife is terribly clumsy with her phone. They offer lifetime free replacement screens when/if they are damaged
Best iPhone case I have ever had. I have drunkenly tossed my phone on the ground to prove a point number of times and never had as much as a scratch on it (though I do also have a screen cover on the screen). They are cheap, amazingly good, and small so as not to have some bulky case on it. Check out some of the videos of the material (D3O) - https://www.tech21.com/en_us
They are thin, but a bit heavy/bulky. They do really protect the phone. Customer service is great as well.
Had never heard of this company till they popped up in my FB feed as an ad, but ordered it anyway. Provides great protection and can't really notice it is there. I love it and get compliments on it all the time, highly recommend http://www.caudabe.com
Might seem odd, but I have a Apple Leather 6S+ case with a well developed patina. Hate throwing it away. PM me, if interested & I'll mail it to you... for nominal donation to TMB Spoiler
Pretty jealous of my wife, as the silver looks clean as hell in the Tech 21 Impact Clear case. Didn't look as nice with the black Spoiler
Don't think so, as the cameras differ. The holes on the 7 cases are significantly larger than the 6/6s
I don't follow this thread but I hope everyone knows that there's a vulnerability in all iOS versions (from what I can gather) before the latest update. It's in iMessage and it allows a user to gain access to your account and send out Chinese SPAM. It fucks everything up and then you have to go through all sorts of shit if you keep important info on your phone like bank apps or email. You also pretty much have to change your email and password for your Apple login. Also set up 2 factor identification. Source: Me and my phone.
Same thing happened to me. Picked up my phone in the morning and there were about 50 text convos in Chinese with some emojis mixed in. Apple alerted me and had me change my password, but haven't noticed anything as far as bank or email apps. Maybe it is because I have different passwords for those though
I didn't have anything happen to them but I have monitored that stuff closely since it happened. I also had a different password that is completely unique to the Apple ID, luckily. I didn't intend for that but luckily it was the case and obviously will be in the future.
Is this a global Apple data breach, something specific to 7's and native software, or something malicious you picked up?
Got mine in matte black last week through Verizon's promo. Got the phone, two bonus gigs of data and my bill went down like $15 a month so pretty happy. Ordered phones for my parents even though they didn't want them because free and more data so why not Lack of headphone jack hasn't bothered me too much yet. Wish I could charge and listen on aux at the same time. But it's fast as holy fuck and the battery kicks ass. LTE advanced is awesome here in DFW
This is a global data breach for all versions of iOS prior to the most recent update. It impacts all Apple devices if iMessage is enabled. This person accessed my account through his/her/its MacBook to send Chinese spam. From reading online it's apple's problem.
Ok man I was prepping for global Chinese cyberwar here but that eases my concerns. Anything pre 10.0.2 is at risk I guess?
Yeah I think that's fair. I couldn't find as much recent info, at least not anything aside from message board posts, so I don't know what all is impacted. I just posted to make sure everyone is updating because I didn't and, while mostly harmless it seems (they sent out 50-100 spam messages from my account and that's it before I got things changed I think), was pretty shitty and makes a guy paranoid.
My 7+ arrived via UPS today. Full 12 days earlier than the shipping estimate, if that helps anyone. It is a Plus because I'm overcompensating
most noticeable thing is how fucking loud/clear the speakerphones are when playing music or watching video i'm just blasting 22, A Million and it's actually pretty pleasurable
