He's a lifelong State fan (odd, I know) and wants to run the team as the only PG. He wouldn't get that opportunity at Duke with Thornton. To be fair, I don't think Duke is even seriously recruiting him right now - all in on Frank Jackson.
pretty obvious reason it's a shame that some schools have no morals or desire to do things the right way
Thon Maker taking officials to IU, ASU, and UK this fall..seems like that's been a consistent top 3 for a while now
no, he found out he can't apparently...and he's graduating in May of '16 now so it'd have to be the '17 draft
@TheRecruitScoop: Duke offers 2017 Team Takeover (DC) wing DJ Harvey. Love this kid. Too bad we have no shot.
@Rob_Harrington: 2018 wing Keldon Johnson is excellent off midrange and having a very nice outing. Easy call for high majors. #adidasuprising Really hope we go all in on this youngin. His older bro is a frosh at Georgetown. Younger brother is going to be a gooder.

Dennis Smith jr is good at basketball, and pretty much unstoppable 1v1. Goes up against Michael Porter a bit at the end as well. 2:30 is particularly nasty.

Drake to cease and desist Ready for a weird and wacky NCAA violation story? Here goes: Kentucky issued Drake a cease-and-desist letter after his appearance at the school's Big Blue Madness event because he took photos with some recruits. MORE: Kentucky's 10 greatest all-time players | Recruits react to Drake at BBM Kentucky's compliance office self-reported the impermissible communication between Drake and three potential student-athletes (PSAs) on April 27, according to a letter obtained by Sporting News as part of an open records request. According to the details in the letter, Drake and his management team arrived at Rupp Arena prior to the event's tipoff and were advised that "NCAA rules prohibited the institution from arranging contact between him and the PSAs as this would be an NCAA violation." After informing the three recruits in town for Big Blue Madness that they were not allowed to have contact with Drake, athletic directors went as far as trying to coordinate who would be in the hallways to ensure that they did not cross paths. After Big Blue Madness concluded, Drake "headed back toward the locker room to say goodbye to the head coach (who wasn't there)" and "PSA #3 (whom Sporting News identified as four-star shooting guard commit Charles Matthews) approached Graham and requested a picture." Big Blue Madness was Crazy!!!' Loved It! pic.twitter.com/F65u44Pxo3 — Team Matthews (@nichole0335) October 18, 2014 The photo request was considered a Level III (non-suspension) violation, and as part of Kentucky's self-reporting the university sent a letter to the NCAA explaining it had "issued a cease-and-desist letter to (Drake) directing him to refrain from conversations with prospects or taking photos with prospects when that conversation or photo occurs outside the parameters established by the NCAA." Because Matthews had verbally committed to the Wildcats in February 2014 — some eight months before the Big Blue Madness event — Kentucky argued in the "mitigating circumstances" section of its correspondence that it was not considered a recruiting advantage. The result? Little more than a funny story and a letter that Drake probably never even saw. UPDATE: Kentucky coach John Calipari tweeted that all is well. There are no issues with @Drake and UK, and Drake is and always will be a part of our Big Blue family. I hope to see him on campus soon. — John Calipari (@UKCoachCalipari) July 22, 2015
Have heard much lately, just that it's supposed to be between SMU and Kansas with KU having the better chance.
Not sure if it's true but the Kansas writers for 247 said its down to Kansas and Alabama. Kansas obviously in the lead but that we are trying to gain ground. And our writer for Rivals said he got information that Ferguson is seriously considering us (I know, it's hard to believe). He wants to announce in 2-3 weeks or so, should be interesting.
He's friends with Avery's son who is on our roster now and plays for Mo Williams aau team so we certainly have some things working for us but I have a hard time believing he'll choose us over KU
He's probably the best prospect we've ever gotten if we land him. He's a stud and will be a monster anywhere he goes.
True. I don't know how I forgot about Wallace. It's still a shame he didn't get to play his actual position at Alabama. If I remember right we had him running PG a bunch.
