My buddy is a cop for WC and says it's all too common as well. He hates getting the calls bc it's just gross
http://nashville.eater.com/2016/5/27/11787576/house-social-eatery-nations-nashville what's going in where the stone fox was
My buddy is about to graduate the academy and be assigned to the hermitage area. Told him I can't wait for him to get a detail on Broadway so I can fuck with him.
I saw a mother and her ducklings walking down the inside shoulder of I65 S between 440 and Brentwood today. Im scared for them.
I've always wondered what hipsters do for a living They seem to live in the trendy/expensive areas in Nashville but I highly doubt the majority have good paying jobs
Red Door East. I don't like the "hipster" bars really. I hate Foobar, Duke's, Crying Wolf, 308, not a fan of 3 Crow really.
Knowing so many hipsters, most of them bust ass at two jobs (mostly serving jobs which is why it may seem weird to some to see them out drinking on Tuesdays or Wednesday's because that's their weekend). It just depends. Of course there are the trust fund ones. But I always wonder how all the 20-something females that hang out in midtown live in the Icon and go out to fancy restaurants/cocktail bars all the time.
Standing in line at Hattie Bs like a good white person. Feel like such a touristy asshole, but that chicken smells good af.
Line at Hattie Bs took an hour and fourth five minutes. Chicken was good. Banana pudding was fantastic.
It's on Jefferson St so it's legit. Hattie B's is new money and run by white people, although very good Senior year of HS a bunch of us split into groups and did a scavenger hunt with money on the line. Starting a pickup basketball game on Jefferson St was one of the tasks for a reason
I don't know off the top of my head. Not us. The big fields by Tyne and Hillsboro used to have cows in them. IIRC our inability to autograph one of them cost us dearly
Well after about three weeks or so I feel like it's pretty safe to say Nashville's basically the friendliest place ever, I can't even exit a highway without some friendly face waving to me Still upset that I forgot to at least try to score last minute At the Drive In tickets though
Headed to the listening room for a couple hours. I'll be the handsome bearded feller in the blue deepest V tee, come buy me drinks.
Marsha Blackburn and her faggot son Chad both deserve to rot in hell Marsha is helping bring a halt to stem cell research around the nation and stigmatize those who work in the field https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...baby-body-parts-they-say-theyre-saving-lives/
IM NOT GOING TO FUCKING LISTENING ROOM BECAUSE EVERY FUCKING SOUTHERN CUNT IS GETTINGBMARRIED THIS WEEKEND FUCK.
Edgehill seems to be undergoing gentrification... people can't resist good craftsman homes in need of some TLC.
For a fourth straight year, Vandy baseball will host a Regional in town. They continue to set the bar for excellence in the Nashville sports scene. Lose five guys in the top 103 picks of the MLB Draft including two generational type kids? No big deal Also in the group: Washington UC Santa Barbara Xavier
Bachelor party this weekend. Only 7 or 8 of us on Thursday night before the rest arrive on Friday. What's a good sports bar to watch the NBA finals before we venture out? Our house is off 65 and Wedgewood. TIA
I love Helen's never understood how hattie b's gets all the hype from tourists but not Pepperfire. both are similar except pepperfire is better
Flying out of Nashville at 5:20 p.m. tomorrow. Anyone flown out recently? What time should I get there to make it through TSA? I saw where I should avoid the Southwest gate in the Travel Thread.
I flew out last week and had no problems on the southwest side but I have pre check. That early I doubt you have problems on either side but the non southwest side should be shorter. Checking a bag or no?
My bad I misread that. I'd say probably 1.5 hours early should be plenty of time. Gives you a good amount of time in case security is backed up and if it's not you can have a drink. I'm used to precheck so this may be off.
Are you flying Southwest or someone else? C (i think) terminal has a Tootsies in it that always seems to have a good people watching crowd in it.
Beyond the edge has 2-for-1s til close and there's a bunch of bars and restaurants within walking distance surrounding it. They have some of the best bar food in the city. ML Rose on 8th also has 2-for-1s til close. And across the street from that is Melrose Billiards where you guys can play pool and look at hipster chicks.
I'm a big fan of ML Rose. Burgers arent anything special, but I like the atmosphere and for Nashville they have a solid beer list. The Sweet carolinas (or whatever the waffle fries with pulled pork are called) are great.
Ml Rose is the definition of solid...pretty good food and the service is always good and it's a nice atmosphere. I think they use frozen patties which holds the burgers back, but the bun and toppings are always good.
These are two solid suggestions. Broadway Brewhouse Midtown is solid as fuck too for sports. Also, I went to Clyde's on Church for the first time yesterday and that place is bad af too.
