How has no one mentioned Trump coming to town next week? Fuck me. I had scheduled meetings all day a block from Municipal. I dont want any part of that shit.
My 2p and 3p appointments gladly rescheduled. The 1p was like uhh naw we good, I'll make it home whenever. Fuck you dude. Fuck. You.
Fuck that. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that area at all that day. What's really awesome is according to the city, they have not been given any information from the WH about the visit yet. So they haven't been able to plan for security, traffic, anything.
Me either but i have no choice. Oh and here is th3 kicker. I am filling in for someone that day that normally handles the Wednesday meetings our team. Municipal opens at 330. Trump ceremony begins at 630. If I can leave at 145, maybe I can make it to the Boro by 6. Im worried about the protesters more than security. Also avoid Hermitage and OHB that day. He is suppose see what Old Hickory has been to lately.
His flight landing and travel from the airport is probably going to run into rush hour as well. That's going to be such a massive clusterfuck. That area of town is bad enough on a normal day, now throw in shutting down roads during rush hour as his motorcade travels and it's going to a nightmare.
Oh the weather outside is frightful But the fire is so delightful And since we've no place to go Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow! I ordered a case of oysters from Louisiana Seafood Co. First time Ive ever shucked in the snow. Bring it
I saw her last weekend in Chattanooga. She came in the crowd and sang Hurtin on the Bottle right beside me.
Nashville may not be the best place for your old, buzz kill ass to visit. Srs, check out the OP. Uber works well here. East Nashville is a great place to party.
Awesome. We are downgrading from Vegas because 3 nights out there got to be too much for us. Tore up Austin last year; pretty sure we can handle Nashville but happy to be proven wrong.
If anyone knows, it is SC Feel free to drop a presale code to Isbell's 5 night Ryman run here. Thanks, Wayne
Road closures downtown in the area of the Municipal Auditorium will begin at approximately noon in preparation to accommodate the thousands of pedestrians expected in the immediate vicinity. Fifth Avenue from Charlotte Avenue to James Robertson Parkway will close at noon, as will Gay Street between James Robertson Parkway and 5th Avenue. James Robertson Parkway from 3rd to 5th Avenues will close at approximately 3 p.m., or earlier as the crowd numbers dictate. During the motorcade from The Hermitage to the Municipal Auditorium, James Robertson Parkway will be closed between Interstate Drive and Rosa L. Parks Boulevard. That closure will remain in effect until the conclusion of the Municipal Auditorium event.
Oh so this is a Trump campaign rally? It is kind of fitting that he got municipal auditorium.... Spoiler Just like Trump it is old, decrepit, and no one will really admit to liking it in its current form
http://wkrn.com/2017/03/13/2-teenagers-shot-at-mcferrin-park-in-east-nashville/ 50 shots fired awesome
My wife and I have been chuckling quite a bit over the fact that he comes to Nashville and we let him use the Municipal Auditorium. God bless Megan Berry for that subtle "fuck you dude", or you can look at it this way; they chose the municipal auditorium because they didn't think they could fill anything bigger with guests. Trump doesn't like those photos from his inauguration. I doubt he wants to have photos taken of him in a "half full" bridgestone arena.
50 shots fired and only two people with minor injuries? Lmao what terrible aim Prayers sent to all the out of state transplants that caused east nasty's real estate market to become overweight
anyone with ideas for Friday night plans for St. Paddy's weekend that doesn't involve buying some ticket to some event? Just want to be at a bar with specials or deals. I know the Sutler is doing something with 3 dollar beers and 5 dollar Jameson shots.
I think at this point the gross influx of AirBnBers to the east side is more annoying than people who actually move over here now. The east side is becoming to bachelor weekends what downtown/midtown is to bachelorette weekends.
I saw a group of a dozen or so seemingly heterosexual men wearing matching "Buy Chad a beer before his wedding day is here" shirts on Saturday.
I hope they put something cool where local taco is on Murphy when it undoubtedly goes out of business
