Yeah, the 3 teams with the most points directly after the invited teams are all NA. I don't know why anyone is upset about NA getting 3 when China got 2. Their closest team after invited in points is #18.
That's true too, and honestly best case scenario. I love CIS/EU salt. EG just beat Spirit, and they act like FTM is some top tier team cause they did well in one event. Honestly it just screws Na'Vi cause they suck.
I wish NA was awarded two spots because I wanted to see who out of OpTic, VGJ.S, and EG (and Col, I guess) wouldn't have made it. It's still possible one wouldn't make it but less likely now. I understand the math that the region is deserving of three spots but I still wanted to hold onto the idea that EG wouldn't make TI.
I would think even the EG fans ITT would be a little scared at the idea of making TI, winning a couple of series and making top 8, and running things back next year.
I didn't care if EG missed TI but I didn't care if they made it either. Now with the roster changes I'm glad NA is getting 3. I didn't like the idea of Optic playing EG after giving them a couple weeks to practice. Fly and S4 are too good at making teams work.

Yeah. 8 teams of 3. Takes forever to queue into game but once you are in its fun. The loading acts like overthrow, so that’s annoying. WK, Zeus, centaur, IO, Phoenix seem good. Get about 1500 for winning the match, doing almost nothing gives about ~150. Caps at 2K or 3K per week
played 3. Lost in ~6 minutes with some peruvians, lost in 11 minutes with another team and won in ~25? if you take too long the ceiling caves in killing your party unless you leave the outer rings and move inward. Haven't played then yet but underlord /axe /Jugg are apparently godtier. If you have a 3 stack, drow/venge/luna wins.

That was hilarious and awesome if you were watching Gorgc's stream. He was watching the defense of Radiant's ancient for about 2 straight minutes and then Dire's falls to creeps when it has about 100 hp left
i was watching grant's stream and he almost got me hyped out of the chair. that was hilarious and dumb and incredible. alliance pretends to be a real team and i can't imagine losing like that. they TPed away from their dying ancient. creeps took their entire base! they took the t3, the racks, and the t4s and ancient. radiant was unable to push for the last 20 minutes.
They lost a pretty close one to a team of some good players. (Lebron formerly of Na'Vi, Swiftending who was on Planet Dog with 33 and made TI last year, and a couple others I'm forgetting)
It was so surprising bc I tuned in at 12-3 and thought EG was about to get spanked, then saw the map and was just shocked. They had them backed up to their Tier3 but were down 12-3. They had a lot of solid smoke ganks at radiant ancients that VGJ couldn’t come back from
Wow, the SA quarterfinal between Pain and TP both teams DC'd and the game auto-resumed and Pain starts losing their T4's. TP comes back first and lets the game end with Pain still all dc'd. That's some classic Peru shit.
