Missed game 1 but Optic just DUMPSTERED VGJ.T in game 2 to get to Upper Bracket. Complete outdraft by ppd, won all 3 lanes. CCnC BS actually destroyed mid ember. Clearly better than vgj thunder, hopefully they get any dpc points this tournament to get in above them.
Why they would pick ember and send him mid against BS is beyond me. CCnC wrecked Freeze so bad he was obviously tilted 5 minutes in and played like ass the rest of the game.
I said Thunder wasn't too good a couple days ago. They have to figure out the point system better next season. Like maybe weigh it towards the end of the season. They racked up points early bland are going to make TI.

CCnC destroyed on ember too after the bad lane. Only getting caught out once while split pushing kept secret locked in their base for about the last 30 minutes.

Spirit went full retard when they were hitting the throne. Axe walked right up to fountain against a batrider, and then Luna and sky sat in place and ate the echo stomp and Cr1t just walked up and smacked them down.
OpTic looks the best of the 3 NA teams but EG has highest ceiling imo. Gonna be an interesting series.
idk VGJS has looked really good too. They split 6 games with Mineski this tournament and took series' from Secret, Vici, and LGD in their last one. Reso scary af
OpTic was a game away from guaranteed top 6 but got 10th picked Arc Wardened and 10th picked Drowed against Secret. Now they're in the lower bracket and have EG, then TNC/VGJ.S, and would have LGD/VP waiting. NA Qualifiers will be a bloodbath.
yeah, i like all of those changes. but we'll see how much roster swapping happens. those it's meant less drama, the stability this year i think has led to really good dota.
Some players have made a good point about roster swapping, which is that at the end of the day if 4 guys on a team feel there's a good reason to make a switch, it's not Valve's place to crush them for it. For all Valve knows a guy could be insanely toxic on a team and to force the other guys to continue playing with him would be shitty. Losing points is a happy medium between protecting players and valve not straying too far from their lane. Less tournaments and highlighting qualifiers is a great change too. Whoever came up with 20 tournaments in 10 months didn't think it through at all. If you're a tier 2 team not getting invites that has to be miserable. You're either at tournaments, playing qualifiers, or traveling like 25 days out of every month.
