Robert Earl Keen has a good new podcast. First few guests are Lucero, Bruce Robison, Jamestown Revival, Reckless Kelly and the like.
Barbara’s Song is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard...this line is just amazing...sends chills down my spine... And from the corner of my eye I saw an angel disguised As a man with a violin And he sang us a song It didn't last very long So we asked him to sing it again
Childers doing 4 nights at The Ryman in February. Feb 6-7, Feb 15-16. Presale tomorrow at 10AM. Code is MOTHERCHURCH.
It wouldn’t have mattered if it was 10:01 probably. I tried forever and either got an error message or someone else got your seats.
I thought y'all were going to tag me when the news broke I think today was just the Platinum presale. The premium seats. I got on at 10:15 and could have bought front row for $250 each. Check back tomorrow at 10am Spoiler
Sturgills new song is extremely weird. still a fan of the dude but someone just tag me when he starts making country or country-adjacent music again.
I logged on this am, there was zero available. I hope they didn't sell them all yesterday, my guess is they did
No. In my experience buying tickets at the Ryman, the pre-sale allotment is only a portion of the venue. Yesterday was just the Platinum tickets. Again, I had tickets in my sights today. I just didn't have the correct presale code. JMO
Caamp. I haven’t seen them mentioned yet. So it’s my recommendation for you guys instead of working today.
As crazy as it sounds being 2019 and all, the new Tanya Tucker record out today, co-produced by Brandi Carlile and Shooter Jennings, is great.
I don’t mean for this to come across rude, but are you unfamiliar with how pre-sale/online sales work?
I'm going to be on the road at 10am, so I will be having to rely on the app. I'm screwed. Going to shoot for Thursday hoping everyone wants the weekend dates.
imo she always had a great voice, so if you give her some good songs and production, i don't see how you can fuck that up. glad to hear about this, will check it out later. shooter seems to be all over the place, his name always comes up in articles giving praise to younger country singers.
Actually listened to them for the first time last night after seeing them mentioned in another thread. Big fan of the music, not sure how country I'd consider it though.
No, I'm really familiar. The Charleston and Columbia TCC shows both sold out in presale. Neither were ticketbastard. I've bought tons of tix on Ticketbastard. The lobby never says this day of sale - it normally gives you a countdown to go live: Oh-no! These tickets went fast and we're unable to find more right now.
Waiting room just went live. We good. Used to be able to get in really early. Maybe its only 15 minutes out now or something
If Florida Georgia line is considered country then Caamp is too. It’s definitely folk music. There’s a Canadian Country music artist it reminds me of but I can’t remember his name.
