Looking for: Sous vide Monitor or two Snowball, Yeti Blue, or similar $100 TV Deeper Reader Pro + Thermapen
Need to get my wife either an iPad or a new kindle. She would only need it for reading so I’m thinking the newest version of kindle.
She won't know the difference $299 refurb 9.7" from Walmart tomorrow https://www.theblackfriday.com/walmart-blackfriday.shtml?page=8
My wife is convinced we need "the Frame" tv from Samsung, so if anybody sees any deals on that please tag.
Also interested in iPad deals if anyone sees any. I haven't done the whole Black Friday thing in like 8 years.
LG oleds do the whole art/frame screensaver thing. She won’t know the difference and you get an oled.
The Samsung is around $1,000 on sale for 55". The LG OLEDs seem to be around $1200-1300 for same size but better specs on the actual TV. With Samsung, you're paying a lot for the whole matte display, custom bezel, flush mount wall kit etc.
My brother texts me the other day asking if some random TV has airplay. I go to the listing he sent, screenshot the overview where it says "Share content from your iphone with Airplay" and said try reading. "A simple yes would have sufficed" Sure, but a simple 5 seconds of reading would have sufficed too.
That's the difference I think. You can project a picture or whatever on most smart TVs now, but the one from Samsung is meant to do that first, be a tv second, so it only makes sense to folks who value it in that order. Personally I don't care about it either, but the wife disagrees so I'm hoping for deals
Looking for a new SSD for my PC. Amazon has the one I’m looking for marked down 43%. Worth it to purchase now or wait a few weeks?
Snagged a Roku Ultra LT for 30 from Walmart to replace my old Dollar General Roku Express I bought in a pinch a few years ago. Roku Ultra LT Streaming Device 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision with Roku Voice Remote, Private Listening, and Premium HDMI® Cable https://www.walmart.com/ip/855978264 Goes live for non W+ people at 7
I’ve got LG OLED’s and they’re great, but for the purposes of a digital art display the Frame with the matte look, minimalist casing, looks way better. If you’re just using it for that it’s the best I’ve seen.

Are these "early black Friday" deals any better or worse than prices that can be expected next week on actual black Friday? Need to replace a refrigerator but unsure whether I should go ahead and pull the trigger or wait until next week.
Probably wait. Refrigerators seemingly don't go as fast as a 60" $250 TV. I don't know. Lowe's or HD hasn't released their ad yet IIRC.
