Dogs involve a lot of maintenance. I personally don’t have that in me with work and travel, so I’ll always be a cat person. I’m sure they’re cool, but there’s also an entire history with dogs and POC that shouldn’t simply be glossed over and chalked up to “caneknight is a dumbass”.
