I fucked up big time this weekend. Kids had Pre-K graduation (yeah it's dumb) and birthday this weekend so lots of cake and ice cream and carbs consumed. Doubt I'm going to hit <200 before next Friday, but my plan is try to run 5k every day until then so we'll see where that gets me. I'm going on beach vacation 2nd week of June so my new goal is sub 200 for that and come back with minimal weight gain.

New caller, long time listener. We had a photographer come shoot my son's little league game and I coach first base. I saw a picture of myself and knew i had to do something. Just started at the gym 3 weeks ago. I've done this a few times and always let a life event derail me and I fall off the wagon. That event is in 3 weeks - work conference. Been working out and trying to make better food decisions. Down 6 pounds from 219 to 213. First 5 are the easiest 5.
It’s not what you eat from Christmas to New Years. It’s what you eat New Years to Christmas. #motivation #hashtag #bodypositivity
I've always gotten out of shape and had goals based on a certain weight or a certain date. I seem to be happier not looking at that or being in shape by a certain time. Fuck that I'm just trying to be healthy for myself and not worry about weight/time based anything or what people think. I understand this isn't the way to go for everyone. I've just lifted weights 2x week & cardio 1x and haven't lost any weight in the last 6 months, but feel way better. I used to eat super healthy and do crazy cardio to "get healthy" asap but it's not sustainable. My body fat is down 5% and i am walking around @ 6'0 180 lbs now. I naturally have a skinny/lanky frame and before just had a surprisingly big gut. Its the only place the fat goes. My family has a significant history of being diabetic and having high blood pressure so this is necessary long term. Also better mentally to focus on being healthy vs what's wrong with me. It's been a long road to get to this point. I'm hoping this change sticks. I've always had low self esteem so this is progress.
6’0” 180? You sound like a tall drink of water. but you’re right. Shooting for goals like that typically isn’t good. But I know how much I burn and what I take in, so I can kinda base it off that just a little bit. You got this

Big family vacation this weekend in Orange Beach for my mom/step-dad’s 40th anniversary celebration. Look for me I’ll be the one in the tank top
Hit 199.6 this morning. This was after a run and a big shit (luckily not at the same time). Very surprised I hit this after not eating great the last 2 weeks but did a lot of cardio and IF to compensate. Congrats to everyone who lost weight and is feeling better. Keep it up. I'll provide pics of my hot bod if needed.
Took this Monday morning as I had business trip this week. A little disappointed in my finish over the last month. Definitely coasted more than I intended, but still overall pleased with the results and the new habits I've created
I’ll do some before and after photos with the same clothes I wore back in Nov/Dec this week maybe. It’s a great visual I’m sure.

We should be done. Sorry I got slammed with work/life and fell off, but saw a few people continued to keep hammering away. Seems like the only 4 that kept rocking along and going are the winners. Pot 875 (I think) 1st place: ~70% of total pot ( BayouMafia 74 Pounds) 2nd place: ~20% of total pot ( Dildo Dawgins 32 Pounds) 3rd place: ~5% of total pot ( Baseballman86 32 Pounds) Little Guy: ~5% of total pot ( TableKnight 7 Pounds)
Great job guys! I think I ended up losing 55lbs for this edition. Can’t wait for the next one to start!
Super happy I was able to maintain near the end when I stopped counting calories. Been getting compliments at the pool! Where Eagles Dare just go ahead and donate my winning to the TMB Operating Costs in my name.
I didn't do any "stand up against the wall" pics before, but I have a pic of myself speaking onstage in early January and then pics from a family trip (Orange Beach hell yeah ) this past weekend Will post in the next day or so when I have time to look through the shared album and the hundreds of pics my wife/mom/sisters posted in there
Anyone want to run one of those? I'll donate my money to the winner and try to lose 10 lbs in the process.
I could probably use some motivation in the form of money or public shaming. I’ve been a mess the past year and need to figure something out.
Ive still kept my weight off from the last one. I would gladly join this one just to keep it off during the holidays.
I've managed to stay around 230 all summer but can't get below. Would like to get to 215 or so but the sense of accomplishment from losing 90 pounds since January has killed my motivation. I'd be happy to join this contest even with no hope of winning so that it keeps me accountable to put the effort into staying where I am rather than backsliding my way up the scale as I have done in the past.
I'd make Vice and American Hustle Christian Bale jealous with the amount of weight I've gained over the last few months. Need some extra motivation for the new year.
I could possibly run it again if needed. I currently hate myself. I was like 205-210 pretty much all year. Had some huge stress issues related to my son and basically drank and gluten'd myself since mid Sept. Weigh 250 this morning.
Depending on the dates I’d be in. Need to do something, switched jobs towards end of 2022 and now goto the office consistently where there’s always food up for grabs. Overall life/stress has just had me eating terribly most of the year, basically it’s been my excuse to get out of the house/entertain myself but it’s beyond bad now. In the process of getting my house up for sale and moving so my peloton isn’t available. Might have to just walk around in the 20 degree weather and go old fashioned CICO diet.
Okay, I'll set up a new thread and run it. Is there an app that collects the money? The only thing I hate is commingling the money in my venmo account. I have to pay some services out of it and it's annoying if I have money in it I can't pay with my bank account. Looking for any suggestions
