Not Keto, but cut booze & eating fruit for breakfast & salad for lunch. Have lost 5 lbs in last 2 wks. Have about another 10 lbs to go..blarg
I'm also at a point where it doesn't matter how much I work out or what my diet is, I'm not losing shit if I am drinking. Doesn't even matter if it's once a week.
I need weight gain help. Took me losing 40lbs 3 years ago to realize I was diabetic. I've only put 10lbs back on. 29 years old and weighing less than I did in junior high is not ideal.
Is it a healthy weight for you? If it is I would work on lean mass via weight training to fill out. If you’re running like 1% fat and need to build that up then I’d add a gainer shake or similar if you can’t put down the calories in food without making yourself sick or miserable.
I’m 5’10 165lbs. My “normal” is anywhere from 185-210lbs. People haven’t seen me in awhile assume I’m doing massive amounts of blow... I’m not. I do need to get back in the gym. I haven’t worked out seriously for more than 3 months since my college days and that was mandatory. I went from being naturally built to looking like a bitch
Went and got Aldi's keto bread after Thanksgiving so I could have turkey sammiches. Game changing product.
Went to the doctor the other day - finally north of 175lbs. Different goals in this thread, but its nice to see people hitting them
i genuinely have no idea what my ideal weight should be. ive been overweight for 23 years and health issues prevent me from working out. im thinking something in the 215 range but i reaply just dont know.
I'm coming off keto for 2 weeks starting Dec 19. Want to gain about 8lbs. Looking forward to it. I don't cheat throughout the year so this gonna be good.
You can always ballpark it with height/weight/age, but I would always come up as overweight or even obese at 5'10 200lbs, yet I would have veins coming out of my arms and calves. https://www.calculator.net/bmi-calculator.html
Anyone have a good replacement for panko bread crumbs? I have few recipes if I could replace them it would be keto friendly
Figured it out. I had a bad experience with the Twinsburg, OH location — pure, watery mush. Then I gave it one more shot at Mayfield Heights and it was very different. Basically, if you look down and it looks pasty, then pass. If you look down and you can see the “rice” small pieces, give her a shot. It’s good, but I still prefer brown rice. As this is the keto thread, I think you guys are used to cauliflower, too.
Keto cheesecake is back. Whip 8oz heavy cream in the mixer, add 1/2 cup or equivalent of preferred sweetener & 8oz cream cheese, mix together. Stir in some coco or peanut butter powder for a twist. Add butter and almond flour crust if you’re feeling fancy. I just eat it with a spoon. Going to try and make the batch last more than two days.
Chipotle cauliflower rice is pretty good. When fresh, it’s damn good. Wife made a cheesecake this weekend and it’s unbelievably filling.
I could probably eat chicken and cheese quesedillas on low carb tortillas every day tortilla, cheese, rotisserie chicken, sour cream
Suggest Mr Tortillas. They’re small but I like them because I can make a bunch of little tacos and they only have 1 carb per tortilla. https://mrtortilla.com/
We really like the pico ones. Probably the same as the carb balance mission ones just smaller. I like them because you can stuff 5 of them with meat and everything and it’s still very low carb. I’d compare them to slightly smaller street tacos. We will use them to make mini quesadillas as well. They hold up really well and don’t break easily
Lost about 18 lbs over 2 months since end of November. Feel better, look better, but cycling off of it. I don’t see it as a long term thing for me, but it feels good to do it for a few months.
I’m here until June or so. Plateauing at the moment, which is frustrating. Added maybe 15 lbs over 3 months, back down 5-7 to 208.
NECRO! down 90lbs yesterday since 9/8. Going really well, hoping to hit the 100 pound mark by my bday on the 24th but it's slowing down a lot. I think if I cut out alcohol completely i'd be over 100 by now.
One thing I've really fallen in love with that hit that pizza itch was pizza with ground chicken crust. Shit is the best, eat it at least once a week. I'm still trying to figure out how to get the center harder, but the outside half has been super crispy and great, rest I eat with a fork.
Wife made keto bagels. They are amazing. Really liked it sliced, toasted, and used for a tuna salas sandwich.
there is some decent low carb options out there. Slightly mighty is good the Firestone option is good and daytime ipa is good too. They aren’t going to get you drunk but they’ll give you a decent buzz and all have a good beer taste. Much better than the michelob And Corona options. Thinking of jumping back in. Want to try and get to about 180ish.
I’ll see whatI can find. Think it was just a combo of cream cheese, almond flour, and mozz with some everything but the bagel seasoning
