I just have a tough time taking a short price on Bayern after his last race. He's great when he has things his own way, but with Private Zone in the race, I don't see him getting his own way. General A Rod is interesting, but I still lean towards Twilight Eclipse in that race. Race 7 is the most wide open race to me. I like Wonder Gal at 12-1 in that race, and will also use Calamity Kate, who is 30-1.
Woody Stephens is the next race. Probably not a good betting race unless you think you can beat Competitive Edge. Given that I still think there is a chance he is the most talented 3YO (though likely distance challenged) in this crop, I'm not going to try and beat him. I really wish he was running in the Met Mile. I think he would have been a major factor.
And of course Competitive Edge looks awful. Didn't break well, was stuck between horses throughout the race, and had nothing entering the stretch.
Race 4, the Jaipur, looks wide open. I think Spring to the Sky (11), Helwan (8), and Unbridled's Note (5) are interesting, and all have good value.
Untapable shouldn't have an issue with that group in the Ogden (Race 5). Going to key and hope for some chaos behind.
My only worry is that Untapable hasn't looked quite as good at 4 as she has at 3. I think she's the likely winner, but Wedding Toast could challenge her if Untapable doesn't bring her A race. House Rules is interesting underneath at a price.
In the Brooklyn, I like Sky Kingdom and, to a lesser extent, Neck 'n Neck. Trying to beat VE Day, who hasn't gotten back to the form he showed when he upset the Travers last year.
I could see 9 or 10 different horses win the Acorn. I like Wonder Gal and Shook Up (though she is very cold on the tote board), and Calamity Kate is a bomb that I also kind of like. I'll go 2-8-4.
Pretty much anything could have happened in that race, and I wouldn't have been surprised. I usually don't have a good feel with the top Filly & Mare turf races (at least until Lady Eli jumps into the class), and I don't really have one in the Just a Game either. I tepidly like Discreet Marq.
I'm sitting one out. Recovering from a vicious beating today. I still don't know what to do with the Met.
Haven't changed my thoughts too much with the Met. I like Tonalist and Kobe's Back quite a bit. Tonalist doesn't have much value, but Kobe's Back at over 20-1 absolutely does, so he's my top pick. Going to box them in an exacta.
Race set up perfect for him, blazing fractions and just sat back until it all came apart at the end. Private Zone had a hell of a trip hanging on for 3rd, but holy shit, Honor Code was flying. Not writing Bayern off, but he's taken quite a step back since last November.
So for the Belmont ... 5,6,8/5,6,8/1,2,3,5,6,7,8 Tri Also used MT's bets so covered with Keen Ice. 5/6,8/1,3,6,7,8/1,3,6,7,8 for the super Good luck fools.
How do you get the job as the Burger King? He gets the best spots at all the huge sporting events. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets to be Alex Morgan's shower attendant for the World Cup.
i mean people must have a short fucking attention span it only lasts like 3 minutes, 3 awesome minutes
