Risking Covid to go see the Chainsmokers and in the process handing money to Fuck Jerry....that should be a war crime
Baby pull me closer At the show with the Chainsmokers That i know they weren’t supposed to, Pissing off Governor Cuomo
So why does everyone hate fuckjerry? Didn’t know it was anything more than a meme sharing page on Instagram
fify, for starters. plus plus they did the netflix doc and tried to paint themselves in the best possible light. plus they fucking suck
Basically their entire business is built on stealing memes and content created by other people and posting it on their much larger platform without credit and then sucking in ad revenue and brand deals on the back of that stolen content. When creators have reached out to them to be like "hey you stole my shit" they send insanely douchey replies. On top of that, they were the guys who basically created the false reality of the Fyre Fest and then proceeded to produce a documentary where they painted themselves as unwitting victims of the festivals deception. They are basically just no talent hacks.
Between them and Barstool, Instagram finally had to create a rule where they tag the original content owner and gain consent. Both those brands got big by stealing other people’s content.
Yeah and I would add FatJewish to that list. The best part is that there have been moments where these people get put on the spot to create something funny themselves and fail MISERABLY.
Jesus "All those posts heard round the Internet got their start here (fuck jerry)" No, no. 99% of them got their start on reddit and they just repost for non-redditors.
Add the Rex Chapman one to that list as well. Though now it is basically short videos with captions such as "Dogs, bruh" or "Children, bruh" or "Fathers, bruh".
It took me longer than I care to admit to figure out the big issues with a lot of meme pages. Chances are every one of them you've encountered are run by some affluent scumbag. A lot of those pages are run by the same few people. They also run all those pages dedicated to women in bikinis and lingerie. Pages called like ThickBitchez24/7 or some shot and they won't link or credit the girls for their photos unless they're paid. Some of the other tactics is linking and tagging their other pages and keeping these accounts on private to give off the vibe of exclusivity. This guy had a real good video digging into it
So i listened to the first episode of this podcast. 1) its kind of interesting if you want to listen to the mental gymnastics of a sociopath. Billy spends the entire thing talking about how its a real shame everyone focused on the bad stuff because a lot of good came out of the whole thing that people dont know about and his future projects are going to be really amazing 2) This podcast is 100% a PR exercise planned and run by Billy. The "host" is pretty clearly a person hired by Billy to pitch him softball questions and pretend to be questioning him but always comes to conclusions that put Billy in a favorable light. I'm not kidding when I say there are moments in this podcast that are like "Wow so it sounds like you were trying really hard to put together a great event and just made some mistakes and got in over your head. Those documentaries really kind of mischaracterized you" It is pathetic lol
Maybe his next step us to make a sales seminar that turns into a cult where he has sex slaves. I hear there is an opening in that area of society
That’s probably cheaper than on campus living and meal plan packages these days. I can’t wait to see this disaster when half get covid
hard to grift your way into that many district titles boy. And the Texas State Association UIL tried to make it harder on me by dropping Gilroy in there and we handled them too
3000 for three meals a day for a semester isn’t that crazy. Certainly not cheap, but it’s not outrageous. Comes out to under $7 per meal.
Is this an entire semester thing? I was thinking it was like a month or so and that was it. Am I completely off?
The guy is broke, in federal prison, and already owes millions to investors due to fraud. Where exactly do they expect the money to come from?
