Qualifiers start today:
#arsen oh, wait....
you forgot #Chelsea
apologies i am now being informed by sources close to the situation that they also weren’t able to qualify
Drita, from Kosovo, won the preliminary round. It marked the first time a team from Kosovo had won a UEFA sanctioned match.
I thought we were friends.
Damn glad to be here!
sorry bud i was given incorrect information from some sources of mine. mistake on my end that won't happen again
egg on your face again
Vikingur and HJK is going to be a hell of a matchup
The other Moussa Dembele has scored 2 early goals for Celtic to most certainly put them through as they are now 5-0 up on aggregate.
Rosenborg up 2-1 on aggregate in the 80th minute Mix
Welp, Valur scores in the 85th to tie it 2-2 aggregate. Rosenborg would be out on away goals
Lord Bendtner puts Rosenborg through with a 94th minute penalty
We will lose in 2nd leg heartbreak.
Jokes on you, that was the second leg
Next round to Celtic. They are going to be shorthanded in the first leg and the result should be favorable. Will choke away 2nd leg.
2nd round starts tomorrow but they did the 3rd round draw today
How do you all approach these early rounds? Pick a crap team to cheer for? Have any rooting interests, hope for upsets (if you can tell who the underdog is)?
Usually go for teams from small countries
Going for Benfica though cause Keaton
If Basil and Benefica don't get through, Liverpool get into Pot 2
Depends if it would affect pots. If it’s going to knock a better club City might play into a lower pot, I’m more likely to root against that happening.
This was a bigger issue a few years ago when we were lower on coefficient
I allows root for the minnows to make it. Means so much to their clubs financially.
Also, if there are teams with players that I like in FIFA or FM, i'll go for them so I can watch those players on tv.
Liege v Ajax would be fun
I want the more recognized teams to make it through.
I'm conflicted with the big leagues not having to qualify in the playoffs starting this year. On one hand I liked rooting against the English #4 in the matchup, though they seemingly never lost, but on the other hand I disliked when a team like Hoffenheim/Villarreal/Gladbach would lose and not be in the group stage.
I like to go for smaller teams and Scandinavian teams.
this post has tagged me like 5 times since it was originally posted for some reason but it’s a Good Post so no worries
Wouldn't happen if we didn't have such shoddy moderating imo
Collapse happening in the first leg instead. Cool.
Getting an away goal is big though.
Dembele is out for both legs too
ajax with a solid result and damn good performance
That 3rd goal ended it I think. I guess 2-0 is possible.
Yeah, it was 2-1 when I posted
Illegal streams here I come
Guys don’t pay. For big games there are so many streams available for free. I can create and pin a thread about how to do it if you need help.
Doubt I’d use illegal streams on my work computer so not sure what I’m going to do
Find some blackmail on your IT department. Threaten them with retribution if they out you for any pron viruses you contract.
What a load of shit
Univision better come in clutch
Yeah I’ll have to bring my personal laptop and use my phone as hot spot but I ain’t paying.
I remember getting killed for suggesting Fox was better....welp.
And AT&T isn’t offering all matches on DirecTV like it was previously?
Hell, use TruTV like Fox did with FS2.
To be fair, there's not many ways to be worse than Fox and turner somehow found the way
I guess I would pay $2 or so to watch my team play but can’t imagine paying for games of teams I don’t follow
This is fucking horse shit.
