I love both guys… Caleb had more arm talent and the ability to make some insane off platform throws I haven’t seen in college since Mahomes. But like Mahomes he does to much and tries to look for a home run every pass attempt. But every tool you could want from a QB prospect he has. Maye isn’t as athletic but his arm talent is also unreal. He makes every throw you would want. He’s able to throw off platform at times. He’s got a fantastic deep ball. I’ve been impressed that he hasn’t skipped a beat under the new OC and the loss of Downs who was a really talented WR. I would be shocked if they didn’t go 1 and 2.
At the time I really hated moving up and taking Will Anderson at 3. Thought giving up what in my mind was a sure to be top-5 pick in 2024 was dumb. Well that pick is slated to be around 20 now so feeling a lot better about it.
I'm a homer but I'm not sure what there is to criticize about his game. He does everything well and is by all accounts one of if not the hardest worker on OSU.
MHJ is really really good. no problem with him being a top 5 pick though Smith-Njigba was better but whatevs
I don’t think anyone is going to go ahead of the QBs. The rest of the draft starts at 3…. MHJ, Olu are probably the guys that could go there.
He’s over hyped… please don’t take that as me saying he’s not a good prospect or not a top 5-7 pick. He’s just not the god he’s hyped to be. I think Nabers is closer to MHJ than MJH is to Chase just as prospects go.
TMB Mel Kiper hyped up Kayshon Boutte and his 1 catch on a dreadful offense as the top receiver last year
I've noticed those Tide fans that spent pages of this thread calling you a dumbass over putting Young at QB3 have not come back to apologize. If anything they should thank you for how much faith you had in him by ranking him over the clearly superior Will Levis.
I clicked to a random page in March 2023 and got a few good Bryce ones along with Boo being mad that people made fun of Anthony Richardson for being terrible at passing.
