Making up bland, generic coachism based on what's going on during the game is harmless, especially if the coach was being a dick and wouldn't do an interview.
then say the coach was being a dick and wouldn’t do an interview. you’re not supposed to make shit up as a reporter, it’s a problem
I agree that making shit up is bad, but at the same time, how many times does a sideline interview before/after halftime actually yield anything of substance? I bet you could compare the ones she made up and the ones where she actually spoke to someone and wouldn't notice a difference.
1. it seems really dishonest to do it but she's right in that those snippet interviews don't matter at all 2. it's very dumb on her behalf to broadcast to the world how little those interviews matter. it's like telilng your boss you have nothing to do and just watch tv shows all day.
Yeah if any harm was done, it's to the perception of the sideline reporters job. If she was making up injury reports, I could see this being a big deal, but she was bullshitting the bullshit. As a side bar, I remember a story Skip Caray once told about doing the Atlanta Flames games on the radio. He would sometimes just say random names of guys on the roster during play because the game was moving so fast he couldn't keep up with who had the puck or who was on the ice.
Off the top of my head that's Rodgers, Burrow, Dimes, Watson, Cousins all with season ending injuries already. Weird year and pretty unfortunate. Seems pretty rare for this many QBs to be hurt nowadays
the only way for America to heal and move forward as a nation is for Charissa Thompson to release a series of tasteful nudes
I don’t know Pat, maybe your boy should at least try not to use his helmet as a damn missile once. 4 games isn’t enough for that psycho, he’s going to break his neck or someone else’s
He's appealing and will get it dropped to 3, which gives him enough time to maim someone right before the holidays.
it’s a heated natural grass field with very good drainage and the rain has been tapering off, shouldn’t be too bad with the right cleats
Rodgers and Watson having devastating season ending injuries is the opposite of "unfortunate" IMO. I can't think of two bigger NFL players that deserve to have their season end like that quite like those two. One was openly spreading misinformation using their platform to do harm to the public and that other one is a straight up predator of women. Fuck them. Agree about the rest tho especially Burrow who fucking rules in general
really not a great MVP field this year. if ever a non-QB had a chance to win it again, this could have been McCaffrey's year, but he's slowed down a bit.
I’d say Tyreek is the best of the non QBs, or Myles Garrett, but it will end up being the top QB even if Pat and Hurts aren’t having their peak seasons. Lamar maybe if Baltimore ends up as the number 1 seed
Lamar is playing well but not directly scoring TDs in bunches which will hurt with some voters. They've pretty much just been pounding it in with the Gus Bus when they get inside the 10.
You know who should be in the MVP discussion, and he has a tough finishing schedule to impress the voters, Dak Prescott.
