Honestly y'alls October lineup and then Vandy on November 1st would basically be Ole Miss's nightmare schedule. @Florida, UK, and State, then Vandy at home. That's a damn murderers row for us
Yea, the joke was referencing "would you even want to" - no, we wouldn't, Kentucky at home kept us out of the playoffs
FULL BONER - AUBURN 2025 SCHEDULE Aug. 30 at Baylor Sept. 6 vs. Ball State Sept. 13 vs. South Alabama Sept. 20 at Oklahoma Sept. 27 at Texas A&M Oct. 4: BYE Oct. 11 vs. Georgia Oct. 18 vs. Missouri Oct. 25 at Arkansas Nov. 1 vs. Kentucky Nov. 8 at Vanderbilt Nov. 15 BYE Nov. 22 vs. Mercer Nov. 29 vs. Alabama
Wish we played UGA later in the year with divisions being gone. Feel like no matter what that game is anyways mid/late September, with the 2015 game (Oct. 3) being the only one I remember past then. And just barely.
“I sort of always liked playing them that second game because you could always count on them having two or three key players suspended,” Spurrier told ESPN's Chris Low.
Mizzou has 2 sets of back to back roadies. Including to end the year. Also the first 6 games are at home. Odd schedule.
"Hey Nate it's Greg. You went to Wisconsin Whitewater or something like that, right? You got the ADs number? Need to make a few schedule changes that don't stand out"
doesnt get much more manageable than this, Freeze playing 4D chess knowing 8-4 gets him an extension.
I'm going off your post. I don't see at consecutively Edit add on. Y'all play Florida in Jax (neutral) and at State.

I won’t stay long, don’t worry. Just wanted to witness your circle jerk if HoW hArD tHiS sChEdUlE is when there are at most three losable games on each.
You’re scoffing at having “3 losable games” when a) you beat Abilene Christian by 1, and b) lost 4 games with the 50th ranked sos.
I mean did you watch much SEC football this season? Gonna have to slightly redefine "losable games" for most of us.
Along those lines: After the number of natties, national championship appearances, and objective dominance from 2000-present, is it really debatable that the SEC should have gotten at minimum 4 bids in this 12 team playoff due to SOS? You would think the SEC has earned the benefit of the doubt. It's obvious that the B10 got 4 bids based on bullshit conference scheduling (and some of their best teams also played noone OOC). Sankey is going to threaten fire and brimstone. But they aren't going to publicly guarantee him more bids. I suppose it will be an unwritten agreement. And they will know next time something like this happens they better figure out a way to put in a team like Alabama, Ole Miss, or South Carolina, or risk losing the conference from their playoff. Or if Sankey is doing his job, that is what will happen.
Ah, we didn't get in bc w lost to Vandy and got slaughtered by Oklahoma so Sankey needs to demand 4 spots so we can backdoor a spot Damn how far y'all have fallen in 1 short year
Not great bob. Guess the selling point is two old rivals coming to town for the first time in years. I swear Texas always signs up for great OOC games but it’s always away first and the return game seems to not be the following season.
at Alabama at Michigan at Ohio State in consecutive seasons Ohio State and Michigan will come to Austin in 2026 and '27 but yeah, not great.
Also the good games are when it isn't going to be hotter than the surface of the sun in DKR so that's nice #positivity
Performance in previous seasons should have zero impact on the current one. I do think it's debatable whether the SEC should have gotten 4 teams this year. That's not to say SOS shouldnt be measured and incorporated. But also, there would have to be a ton of mitigating factors of putting a 3 loss team in over a 1 loss team (Both from P4). Which also stinks because it really doesnt reward scheduling fun OOC games
Up until this year we had home slates that included teams like Kansas, Iowa state, TCU, UH and the like. There will be no refunds.
Michigan was going to be home this year but was renegotiated with the conference realignment. We had Alabama at home first in 22 then at their house in 23.
