Gotta get those likes, sad really.
And where are yours!!
Also the set pics showed him today with blonde hair.
Cobblepot with blonde hair eh?
Gonna be bummed if this ends up being less than very good
too many good pieces assembled and Reeves is an underrated director
It’s going to be terrible
well I appreciate the optimism
Would be cool to see him in this roll.
Who is playing Dent in this? Assuming they are still doing Long Halloween.
Think they teased that Peter Sarsgaard was playing Dent but didn't confirm it.
Chernobyl's Alex Ferns and Con O'Neill join The Batman
Yeah plus they need to set aside time to show us what happened to Bruce Wayne’s parents and how he became obsessed with bats.
Show us the costume.
We wanna see the costume!
That score though
Kinda cool how the facial structure of the cowl actually looks like Pattinson’s real face. At least more so than previous cowls/actors imo.
That music is great btw
I hope that is representative of the final score. I liked it a lot.
Any possibility of Joaquin phoenix in a batman movie?
I wouldn't put money on it.
As a Batman fanboy, I hope we never see that Joker in a Batman film.
They created a character in that film which played on the Joker mythos, but it wasn’t Joker.
In the comics, Batman can exist without Joker. Joker cannot exist without Batman.
Scorcher: Joaquin’s Joker would suck ass as an actual movie villain because his character is not remotely believably capable of actually executing any evil plot outside of his daydreams
I hope we get a comic book Batman this time and not another grounded, realistic approach. Loved what Nolan did but I just don't want to watch it again.
Yes give me Joel Schumacher, give me nipples
"Do I look like the kind of clown that could start a movement?"
While the movies he was in weren't great, I really enjoyed the Ben Affleck Batman.
The intro scene with the 2 police officers and the warehouse scene when he saves Martha are some dope Batman moments.
I’ve been convinced for some time that the movie didn’t even start out as being joker
They should've shown the entire sequence of him breaking into LexCorp to steal the kryptonite and I'm so pissed they didn't. It would've made a lot more sense for the story to show that instead of the car chase
The mad max style scene where he was just mowing down entire convoys
I really liked his fighting style. He was fast and brutal.
That, plus the suit looked good, and he had realistic/practical enhancements like the voice synthesizer (goodbye ridiculous Christian Bale Batman voice) and bulletproof cowl. Not to mention the use/portrayal of the grappling gun was top notch.
I just wish WB could get their shit together and give us good DCU. It shouldn't be this hard.
At first glance at this, in my head “goddamn Stellan does not pull out under any circumstances”
while probably true, realized he is a Skars not a Sars
That warehouse scene was straight out of the video games and was the best part of the movies IMO
He really was a great portrayal of Batman. I have a feeling Robert is going to be good as well.
I will continue to say the only people who don’t like the Pattinson casting have only seen Twilight and none of his work after.
He is a fantastic actor.
Agreed. I didn't like the casting at first but then I watched some of the stuff he's been doing. Guy is an incredible actor.
The casting on this movie, top to bottom, all seems really great
I think they're coming around.
I've actually really enjoyed Shazam and Birds of Prey. I thought Aquaman sucked but people seemed to like it in general. They seem to be doing pretty well post-Justice League and the last movie before that was Wonder Woman. I'd say they're trending up since 2017.
Really liked Shazan and Aquaman. Thought Birds of Prey was only better than Suicide Squad. Harley was the worst part of the movie, imo. She's only good as a supporting character.
I wanted more Huntress and Black Canary.
Wonder Woman is still the best of the DCEU and it basically collapsed in the third act.
aquaman was surprisingly pretty good. i only watched it because i had the tv on while working and it came on and i got drawn in
have zero interest in suicide squad, birds of prey, etc
