love this show so much.

 

Time jumps during the season are hard to pull off. But this show gets every benefit of the doubt

Just watch the last episode. Acolyte was "this meeting could have been an email" in the form of a television season.

 

I enjoyed it, had some good lightsaber fights. Daphne Keen was cool, Jason Mendoza was hot.

 

The light sabre episode ( ep 5? ) was the best one. Bc there was less dialogue.

And I still can't believe that lady was X-23 in Logan.

The last 4 episodes of season 1 are probably my favorite thing on tv the last 10 years, and the last episode is so visually stunning, so well shot, the way they use the music in the funeral match to slowly increase the tension of the scene culminating in civil unrest is just perfection

 

Decided to rewatch season 1 and watched the first 3 episodes last night. Such a stark difference between it and the trash they've given us recently.

I don't know what in the hell Disney is doing to cause these projects to cost so much. Dune 2 cost 190 million and it's the best looking movie of the last 10 years.

The total run time of S1 was over 9 hours, so if they’re putting feature-level production into it, that would make sense.
