It kills me when I hear an adult say they don't "believe" in something

 

“Not believing” in obesity was a new one to me

 

How does that even work? You can believe personally in not drinking alcohol or committing adultery.

 

Yeah I took it as her saying she doesn't personally think those things are good. But still pretty weird to tell someone you think adultery and obesity are bad. Everyone agrees with that. Like I don't know anyone who touts the virtues of adultery

 

My man is over here eating three cans of Spaghettios with meatballs with a bag of crumpled up BBQ chips over the top of it while chugging hot Dr. Pepper.

What in the world kind of office set up is that? Right next to each other in the kitchen?

I run a trucking company and he is one of the dispatchers. Big open office with kitchen on one end. It is odd, I do admit.

 

He downs on average probably 10 cans a week that I know about.

This week a coworker in his early 30's asked a younger female subordinate if she was "ready to go to pound town" thinking it meant ready to get to work.

Today is annual Culture Survey results day. Watching everyone explain away their poor scores and nothing is getting done from any people leader. It’s glorious!

 

I will add last year I was in the Top 5 of the 479 people leaders in the Americas. This year I came in #1 in the world.

Only questions I got dinged for were company related and that Net Promoter Score of recommending friends and family to work is hilariously bad. Goodness gracious it has not been a smooth migration into one company
