I was case free on my 6S for the last 2 years or so since I wasn't worried about any additional damage. Now I've been enjoying case free life on my 12. Debating on whether to get Apple Care+ and just ride case free.
I went full bore AppleCare plus with loss and theft. Ordered the clear silicone so you can still see the phone color
I was doing some pre-research about the new Silicon chips for the laptop purchase after the event next week. Am I reading this right? They’re just going to be able to run iOS apps natively?
2 weeks in and I love the watch. I didn’t think having stats pop up whenever I moved would motivate me to move more, but sure enough.
Posting from my new MacBook Pro . One year free of Apple TV is tight too. However my iPhone 6s is fucked after the latest update and I'm sad. Apps are laggy and battery drain is crazy. Have gotten rid of everything I don't need hoping it was a storage issue and its been over a month so the adjustment period is long over. I need to stop being a poor and get a new phone right?
do you use this as your personal device? work says we can use it as personal, but they won't let me put my personal number on the eSIM line
Probably, but try doing a factory reset and just add the apps you need. Might get a little better performance
Has this been discussed yet? Bit of a game changer for Spotify/Apple Watch folks. https://www.theverge.com/2020/11/4/21549483/spotify-apple-watch-streaming-music-rolling-out
Hey now, don’t knock the calculator app on the iPhone 12. does anyone else fuck up 80% of the time selecting the calculator from the control center? I don’t know how I have this mental block but I regularly mix up the stopwatch icon and the calculator icon. It’s incredibly obvious but the issue continues to crop up.
Tempted to do the trade in deal for my wife's X to upgrade her to a 12 pro. My phone is too old and has a screen crack for att
I want to read / watch some reviews first but I most likely will too soon. New chip is a game changer. Keeping them priced the same My early 2011 has treated me well for a long time. Been wanting to upgrade for a few years now, waiting for the next leap forward
I also almost dial 911 trying to snooze my alarm or turn volume down on occasion. Probably need to turn that off.
Same boat here with a 2011 Air that died. I was close to getting a Mac mini a few months ago but realized I couldn’t get over the idea of it not being portable at all and the FOMO with the new chips. Everything looks promising on geek bench but I’m getting close to having to do something. I’ve filled a 64 GB card with photos that I haven’t been able to process.
The fact they put the ram inside the chip is kinda bullshit though. It’s not surprising because Apple has taken every step to remove upgrading and repair from the consumer, but it’s still shitty and sucks. Yet they can do it because simps like all of us itt will still buy their products.
Only thing bugging me is the one external display support instead of multiple. The two monitor life at work has spoiled me.
I am serious. I will do that. I know reviews are already mixed on a machine not yet released, but right now I got nothing and I don’t think I can wait much longer with just a phone and a work PC that is so locked down I can’t even use thumb drives. If it truly only drives one monitor that is the only buzzkil I see.
This morning was the first time since the update where my 6S did not completely drain overnight and everything seems back to normal. Is it possible it took over a month for it to adjust to the new operating system? We have life!
