Had aged group at Automatic tonight and it’s going to be difficult to not get priapism from thinking about it
they actually probably have a totally pathetic readership but, like yellowhammer or API, are bankrolled by some wealthy ideologues who don’t care about the numbers
I was not familiar with the group and went to the website last night. They have an article about his death which has a link at the bottom to all of their other articles about his alleged issues. Pretty shitty.
It’s a disgusting publication run by yellowhammer retread Jeff poor, one of the biggest losers I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting
Ask an Alabama chef: If you could eat at only one restaurant, what would it be? https://www.al.com/life/2023/08/ask...at-only-one-restaurant-what-would-it-be.html?
Has anyone ever been to the Vapor thrift store in Vestavia? I live a stones throw from it and never been in there but it’s always packed. Parking lot full and people parking in the grass. Always wondered why
I have not. I liked the antique store that was previously in that spot years ago and if I’m remembering parking wasn’t easy then, could just be the lot?
I have contacted Tubb’s office to redirect his efforts from the southern border over to the eastern border of Alabama to stop any illegal bootlegging of Alabama’s greatest natural resource.
Never been but I do recall that we discussed Vapor Ministries and their sketchiness in here a few months back.
Martin’s was right next to the synagogue I went to growing up. Had their fried chicken many a Sunday in my youth and wanted them to cater my Bar Mitzvah
Champy's really is legit. I wish they would open a location in my backyard. Now I'm craving fried chicken for dinner.
Did the GM 705 wine dinner last night as a birthday present and it was really good. 6 course meal with 6 different wines to taste. highly recommend.
My buddy boy (almost 2 years old) had the time of his life on the North Pole express last night at the Heart of Dixie railroad museum in Calera. If your kids are still in the Santa age bracket I highly recommend. Hell even if they aren’t, it’s fun for all ages, we had a blast. https://www.hodrrm.org/body.cfm?id=768
I’ve heard mixed experiences with standard dining but was curious if their set menu holiday stuff was better. Going to put faith in Tegg’s feedback since my parents want to take everyone to that
went to Galley and Garden for dinner once a few years ago. it was fine but mostly forgettable and haven't been back since.
My 3 year old was pretending to read a magazine and yelled “Dad, look it’s Oteys” Sure enough it’s an Oteys ad. Not sure if she’s a genius or I’m a drunk.
That’s the car we rode in, definitely taking an expanded crew next year and getting a block of tickets.
I went to Galley and Garden pre covid as well and thought it was mediocre and forgettable. My aunt and uncle got divorced then remarried and had their remarriage family gathering meal celebration event there Maybe that's why it was forgettable.
Wasn’t Gally and Garden the place where the owner sued the SBA for discriminating against white owned businesses during COVID
Ha! Apparently so. What a shitty place https://www.al.com/news/2022/12/whi...sues-over-covid-relief-racial-priorities.html
Bumfucker’s tried to charge me double price for wings one time a couple years back. Server said nothing until the check arrived.
