Might be time for a thread title update, Tex . Something simple like "DCU: Superman Legacy, 7.11.25" would last us for another year
Doesnt matter. I still wish he was directing all the Peacemaker episodes instead doing a Superman movie dgaf about.
It was ok, not as good as BTAS obviously, but it also wasn't as good as my adventures with superman to me. There were some high points, but felt like it could be a lot better. Looking forward to season 2
I am thinking the same. I loved The Batman and looking forward to The Penguin. Spoiler I got this shirt
I think there is an argument to be made that TDK is a better movie. But for me the Batman is a better Batman movie. If that makes any sort of sense. In the end I love both. Batman still has probably two of the best comic book films ever made either way.
Apologies if already posted, but I posted this in the OSU team thread last month and just noticed this thread title. They were filming at Cincinnati Union Terminal last month for the new Superman, using it as the Hall of Justice.
Batman Begins is probably my favorite origin story ever. I would argue it's the best Batman movie in terms of pacing. Easily the most rewatchable imo. The Batman probably had the closest feel to a comic book though. I can completely understand why it would be someone's favorite Batman movie.
The Batman was horrible. Tried it three times fell asleep two of those times. Moody, cheesy dialogue, boring, over acting by 2/3 of the cast. better than the Nolan trilogy? Get the fuck out of here i did like the penguin character and Gotham looked great, though. Will probably try the penguin show, but i really can’t understand the love for the movie
I didn't think it was anywhere near 'horrible', but for me it wasn't a patch on BB or TDK. Those two are far more rewatchable for me - I'll always sit & watch them for an hour or so whenever they're on TV.
I was just thinking yesterday how much I'm excited for this movie. 2026 will be four years after the first one. Agony
I have been waiting for a Hush story since the comics and graphic novel. One of my favorite bat stories ever.
I always favor villains not dying in their movies. Feature them in a film, then keep them in the background. Scarecrow in Nolan's movies was great for that
I don't since that would be a complete departure from the character. Plus that's more of a Calendar Man thing.
