In an alternate world Superman has not only mistakenly killed his wife Lois Lane and their unborn son, but destroyed Metropolis with a nuclear bomb. When it was discovered by Superman that Batman's enemy: The Joker was the mastermind behind Superman's mistake by drugging him. In retribution Superman kills The Joker. In the real world The Justice League fights the Injustice League in metropolis and the Justice League Watchtower. As The Joker and his girlfriend Harley Quinn set a nuclear bomb in Metropolis, most of the Justice League members and The Joker were teleported to the alternate world where Superman is the oppressive ruler of the Planet Earth and where that world's Batman is a rebel trying to topple the empire. The real world's Justice League must team up with the alternate world's Batman and end the alternate Superman's empire.
Joker used scarecrows fear gas to trick him into thinking Lois was doomsday and Superman rightfully freaked out and took extreme action to deal with him… then realized it was Lois
Also injustice does a good job of highlighting how ineffective Batman actually is as a hero. Joker should’ve been someone he killed if he actually cared about saving lives and wasn’t just a different brand of psycho which is what the entire Arkham series is basically about
For the most part yes, and plenty of the justice league members have gotten on Batman for not doing what needs to be done. But then again none of them take the initiative to do it either.
This is always the key part to me. It's true of a lot of the JL members but Flash could not only find, but also kill, Joker before anyone even realized he was gone. Batman would start doing his detective thing after he found out Joker was dead and all of Joker's henchmen would just be like, "idk man, he just spontaneously exploded!"
I could start an entire thread on how different member of JL could easily dispose of the Joker, in fact. The next time Joker sits down to take a shit, a venomous sea snake crawls up and bites him in the ass. Aquaman is never even questioned.
Infuriating, Snyder wasn't as bad as JJ Abrams in what he did to Trek and Star Wars but he was bad and seemingly didn't understand the characters he was using
Was watching this the other day in the background and this came part came up. And just shook my head. This had got to be one of the worst scenes in history. None of it made sense.
Even Zod's reasoning for taking over Earth. Why remodel it into Krypton when literally you just need to suffer for a little bit as a baby and then you'll have superpowers?
They had literally talked about other colonies they visited. I’m sure there wasn’t one you had to terraform.
Well that's the most Martha Kent looking Martha Kent I've ever seen. I appreciate them not going the Marisa Tomei route.
I'm not in love with it, but I will probably fall in love with it in time. It's very busy (and weirdly scuffed up, but that's clearly intentional)
Also Tex My Adventures with Superman fucking rocks. He's not like OP and it gives Lois and Jimmy so much of their own shit to do. Also Superman not being a giant fucking asshole is nice. It's great
CW has produced not 1 but 2 very good Superman shows that were treated very differently. Cartoon Network has now produced a successful and very good Superman show. This really isn't very hard to do, but hiring people who actually fucking understand the characters and why fans love them would be a step in the right direction and not hiring hacks like Zach Snyder and JJ Abrams because they make things look pretty If James Gunn can't make a good Superman movie just stop fucking making them imo
It was clearly a cheap and quickly done background, just to great some mystery about what's going on. It's not going to be a still from the movie.
I've been watching all of the animated movies. I only have about 5 more to finish the Tomorrowverse. Been a good ride.
thought i had all of them, but looks like i need to get Son of Batman, Batman vs Robin, and Green Lantern.
Denis Villanueve But seriously that leak a while back looked amazing. If it was the same quality as the Spider Verse films I'd be all for it. I'll take either honestly.
