Swung by my old house and my son likes Chipotle so we decided to do dinner on the way home the other day. Long story short, they were doing app orders only so I ordered and drove around for a bit. It took 45 minutes and the inside was a huge mess with confused customers trying to order and teenage employees try to survive and explaining they were short staffed, etc. Food was fine but wow at taking 45 minutes for Chipotle.
Had the new brisket yesterday in a burrito. I thought the flavor of the meat was good, but they chop it up too small.
I ate at California Tortilla yesterday for lunch. It was much fresher tasting and did wreck my stomach like Chipotle.
That’s good. A lot of the reviews I read talked about them cutting it too small so I’m glad to hear they don’t all do it. I did enjoy the flavor though.
I have not had Chipotle recently but I believe I have what WebMD diagnosed as "traveling diarrhea". It is day 4. AMA. Also please send help if you dont hear from me for 24 hours.
Got Chipotle for first time in ages. Tried the brisket and the meat was overcooked and the size of rabbit pellets. It will be another year before forget and go back.
I love chorizo so I honestly can’t really tell. This may be my first meat substitute thing I’ve ever eaten
Occasionally I will have chipotle when I run out of options. But I would rather drive four hours round trip to Des Moines from Omaha for pancheros.
Once watched Derek Dooley walk into #29 with his kids and go right to the register to order instead of going to the line where the food starts. That is when I knew his tenure was doomed.
I changed my vote from no to yes. I've discovered the Barbecoa is quite good and I eat a bowl once a week. Love the red Chili salsa as well.
I can get a burrito from a local spot (you never heard of it) that is twice as good and costs half as much but I still sometimes will go to Chipotle and be disappointed, I feel it is nowhere as good as it used to be
