I didn’t know it was gonna be so damn funny or have some of the best ass shots I’ve ever seen and though I enjoyed it, it certainly didn’t need to be 140 minutes
I went into it assuming it would be way too long but not really sure there are any scenes i'd cut I would... Spoiler make the finale NYE party shorter I get it, but I didnt need it for 12 minutes or whatever
The Substance really baited me into thinking it was going to explore some deeper themes. Then the last 30 minutes was refreshingly funny and deranged. It's a tad long though.
Demi Moore is actually much, much better than that movies deserves. Probably my favorite performance of the year so far.
Megalopolis is much funnier than I thought it would be, though I don't think that was intentional. Baffling movie. Highly recommend.
It's honestly pretty hollow and incoherent but I've never seen anything like it and had no idea what was going to happen next.
There were several walk-outs in my Megalopolis screening Spoiler Auntie Wow scene was the final straw for them
The aspect that really keeps me from taking it seriously is that every single actor is acting like they're all in different movies. Driver is completely sincere(except for his sassy little "go to the club" line), Shia is in a comedy stage play, Aubrey Plaza is in The Room, Nathalie Emmanuel is in a princess movie, Jon Voigt should have triggered a silver alert.
I am here to report that the Wild Robot is magically magnificent my goodness if I had to find a fault I would say some of the latter part of the movie is not really needed. Like they could have ended at a specific part and it would have been just as good imo
watching brawl in cell block 99 for the first time how is this movie so highly rated on RT. its....fine?
Watched Wanted for the first time in a while Of all the unbelievable things in the movie, the most unbelievable is when the main character googles his name and there are zero results His name is Wesley Gibson
Transformers One was cool first part was a bit clunky but once the action starts it really picked itself up as always animation is always better. But we’ll always have Linkin Park and Megan Fox, Michael Bay
It was entertaining but it looks like no Transformer project will ever top the original Transformers the Movie from 1986.
Just figuring out the reviewer you jive with. Mine is David Sims of the Atlantic, who needs to come back from parental leave.
Damn. I'm going to need to find one that is disappointed by everything. Maybe Jay Sherman will come back.
Megalopolis met all expectations of being psychotic, wildly pompous, and entertaining. Visually a 10/10 and probably should win an Oscar for costume design. Spoiler Fucking died at Voights little mini bow and arrow
the "fresh meter" is a waste of time but if you click that logo, it will give you the actual movie ratings so in the case cell block has 90% but is a 7.6 out of 10 so dont treat the 90% as in it's elite or anything it's just that 90% of critics gave it a 6.0 or better (which is not really a great score imo)
