I remember liking one or two songs. Doubt I ever listen to that album again.
I wish Serj Tankian had tried to do metal projects, because I love his voice
I bought this album the day it was released
that song is silly but it still rips
If anyone asks, we don't know each other.
when Black Fast returns to Portland I will have an extra ticket for you
fucking score! you're forgiven.
i love this album
Just sold my Chemlab limited edition CD for $150.00. Was never into the band, they're not really metal but still heavier than anything joe listens to. Found it in the used section back in the mid 90's for $2.99 (Wherehouse Music in Clackamas, still has their stupid yellow price tag on it). It took me 5 or 6 years to realize it was a limited edition autographed version. Took me 25 years to realize the autographed foldout booklet is a photo one of the band members shooting heroin into his dick.
Missed a ton of beats if you ask me. Pretty sloppy air drums.
i love this guy. laughed at the lone guitar chugging at ~30 being twice as long
2022 will be the year Joe discovers his new favorite band Elden.
i saw that in my facebook feed earlier but didn't listen. does it have another skeletor on vocals?
It's more Mastodon than Ghost.
hmm i think these guys have listened to Sultan's Curse before
Martin Lopez (Opeth bassist) solo death metal project. It's not mindblowing but there is some promise
also i saw AMG reviewed this the other day and i liked it. also the art is tight. done by the same guy as that Bell Witch album cover
oh hell yes
follow up to
Looked up "abigail williams tour" because this album is tight
They are on a tour with Borknagar() and headliner Rotting Christ
How did I miss this album? Did someone post it in here and I just ignored it?
I doubt anyone posted it, they were ridiculed after their first release. I don't know if anything has changed music wise.
black metal now
if nothing else
that opening track is sick. the verse riff
Even though there's been about 25 years since their last release, P Waltz will never not be a blind buy for me.
What they last sounded like in 1996 (each release from the bands conception in 1986 sounds different, first full length was 1990)
That tour lineup is phenomenal. Rotting Christ is one of my favorite bands of all time.
Can’t believe the US gets that tour, and Mayhem/Abbath/Gatecreeper in the same season.
Youtube's recommending to me some song by a band called Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs
I kind of like the cut of their jib, should probably resurrect Beavis and Butthead for this video
somehow Candlemass got nominated for a Grammy
Grammys constantly do that in the metal category. Nominate folks decades after they’ve done anything noteworthy and Tenacious D.
I'm guessing Tool will win both the metal category and the song one that they are nominated for. I thought this album was basically the epitome of mediocre but at least the winner would be a good band
i like that Death Angel was also nominated. that was a good album.
discovered these guys today. German death metal, for fans of Chapel Of Disease, Sulphur Aeon, Slugdge, old Kataklysm.
Deserted Fear - The Final Chapter
Deserted Fear - The Carnage
I'm afraid you found them on their decline. I tried to tell you guys to listen to anything FDA releases. Century Media signed them and the quality went down. Not necessarily CM's fault, but it just seems to work that way.
Kinda surprised Baroness wasn’t nominated. Seems like the type of album that would be.
not even the grammy voters could stomach that production
I should add that Skeletal Remains didn't suck after leaving FDA for Century Media, but hard to suck when you're just copying a legendary band.
Other F.D.A. stuff worth investigating:
Evoke, Weak Aside, Obscure Infinity, Decapitated Christ, Wound, Slaughterday, Keitzer, Requiem, Endseeker, Rude, Funeral Whore, Revolting, Demon Incarnate, Fatalist, Discreation, Dehuman Reign, Lifeless, Deus, Otiosus, Invictus, Eroded, Nerlich, Revel In Flesh
just for u cause you know it all .
all hail the mighty Spacetrucker (first 3 tracks on this album)
Reed Mullin RIP (Corrosion of Conformity). DAMN January showing no mercy on drummers

and #1 is
I still like it.
chinese black metal exists, apparently
Kirk Windstein solo album is well done.
Intronaut has a new album coming out on February 28th. They've released 2 songs so far, and they both rule.
How deep does my hatred for Voivod run? Deeper than my hatred for this.
I'd watch half of these bands.
I’m considering going.
Tempting for sure, I haven't been to Vegas in ages.
It's like a female Rhapsody, cheesy videos and all.
Even the non-metal bands are appealing. I'm a big fan of Warpaint.
Last year they had Beach House, which is also good.
