Saw something the other day that the Giants are in the SS market, so there’s one team that could definitely choose to outspend us if they wanted to
Don't they have a young guy they like? Also, we've got a higher payroll and just carved a ton out. I'm just not sure any of these guys warrant a bidding war/massive contract.
Don't think you get lucky that many times over the course of a full season. The BAA and SLG against his Four Seamer were actually higher in 2024 than they were in 2022 and 2023 per Statcast, which is wild. On the flip side, he was a reliever, so he threw less pitches and revved it up more. 2022 97.1 MPH avg 55% of pitches .239 BAA .319 SLGa 24.2% whiff rate 2023 98.2 MPH avg 64% of pitches .188 BAA .319 SLGa 27.1% whiff rate 2024 95.5 MPH avg 55% of pitches .266 BAA .369 SLGa 16.5% whiff rate
They thought Luciano was going to be the guy but he's been awful in his 2 stints the last few years. Fitzgerald had a great year offensively out of nowhere but he's not very good defensively and it sounds like they are going to move him to 2B or the OF (Chris Taylor was the comp I saw).
Pretty ok with this. Assume it'll be $10-15M? Edit : I was reading this assuming he would be in Atlanta. Guess that isn't for sure.
Why Roki Sasaki, the top prospect with ace upside, isn’t necessarily destined for Dodgers - The Athletic
It's just another option for people who don't have Bally/FD/Whatever on their cable. Or for people who only have cable for the Braves.
If only I could have your posting style of being a complete blind dipshit thinking our team had a chance and touting loser shit like "dur we're the 1st wild card can't trade anyone"
you can post “we shoulda traded sale!” a million more times and it won’t magically become an intelligent point, you dumb hick
Yes because we all saw it fucking play out and like the moron you are you'll keep to you dumbass schtick
i think the consensus itt is we should have traded him at the deadline then traded back for him this winter
