So Espada will pinch hit Yanier with 2 on and 2 outs for Dezenzo, but not for a worse hitter (Rodgers) with the bases loaded and 2 outs?!?!

Yep, he's getting too many opportunities and not producing. He's now 4 for 28 with RISP (but just 3 RBIs somehow) and 15 Ks. And only has 9 RBIs total despite being tied for team lead in HRs at 4.

And probably would be hitting 7th if Yanier wasn't struggling so much.

 

Now 3 for 31 on the season with the bases loaded.

And already 1 for 10 w/ RISP tonight after 5, not great Bob

I think the Taylor Scott experiment may be over. Thankfully crane didn’t give him a 3 year deal after his 1 good season like Montero ;)

Astros should’ve just given Goldschmidt a one year deal and figured out 1B next season rather than waste 20M per year on Christian Walker, may have even been able to bring back bregman or get another veteran OF that way
