Longoria killed what would have been a sweet score. Also watching Moneyball several times comes in handy when the A's are an option.
Should've gone with Teddy Higuera (sp?) for only one team and Brewers, but Yount just jumped to mind to quick and hard not to go with him :)
A little too easy to cheese the One Team Only category. Should have something like a 10 year minimum.
I went to a game in Milwaukee during Mat Gamel’s rookie year and he was having a decent year, wanted to buy a tshirt jersey of someone random, not one of their “stars” so I bought a Mat Gamel tshirt jersey. Followed his career and he flamed out pretty badly. He never even got 100 plate appearances in another season. Just finally got rid of the shirt a couple years ago. Kinda surprised he wasn’t lower than 0.1%, he has 240 career AB.
need some of the 90s/2000s roiding Rangers to get in the HOF just to spread that category out a bit more
Pretty quick one today and didn't really care about rarity after that Knoblauch entry, especially since i always use Kirby if I can (Brunansky or Gaetti would've been better for rarirty), while i think this is the first time i've been able to use good ol' Bip Roberts ;)
Note: Byron Buxton only stole 29 bases in the full season he played in 2017. Sucked seeing that after I missed on him.
Lyman Bostock being murdered in Gary, IN, in the 70's was a shock to young me. He was a 5 WAR player in his 2nd to last season, just 27 when he died.
My memory is shit but I only connected Shawn Green with like 1 Brady Anderson-esqe season, was much more of consistent player than I rememebered.
Missed the chance at a column of managers, but I answered the top Orioles question first. Frank Robinson would've done it.
