    This month's book:
    TBD

    Guidelines:

We can start it back up. Let's make it really informal. First person to make a thread that says, "<Month> 2015 TMB Book Club Book is <insert book>". I'll pin it and we'll go from there.

Don't start a new thread until it is apparent the old one is reached its course, say until the final week of the current month.

ex. August 2015 TMB Book Club Book is The Hobbit

    (It's not The Hobbit)

Everyone... I recently was offered and accepted a job back in Arkansas. I'm currently living in Mississippi. In the next couple of weeks, I have to find a house and move all my shit, while still working at my old job. because of this, I am stretched pretty thin and may not give this club the attention it needs (not that it needs a lot, but you know what I'm saying). So, if things seem to be neglected, that is why. I'll jump back feet first as soon as I can.

    Thanks.

So did anyone else read Man in the High Castle? I don't think it was officially decided but I picked it up anyway. I really enjoyed it, makes me want to watch wwii movies and shows though to remind myself of the ass-kicking we gave those japanese and krauts

The Man in the High Castle won and is our next book. Reading starts today actually. I'm terribly sorry, this moving and starting a new job has really taken a lot of my time. I'll get us back on a schedule as soon as I can. With the two week window we have, hopefully this delay won't set us back too bad.

    See OP for info.

Also, I have created a Google calendar so we (I) can see what steps are next. If anyone wants an invite so they can see as well, PM me your email address.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. I may PM you if things don't straighten out. That being said, we are moved in and have all the utilities on and most everything set-up and running, so the worst is behind me. Hopefully, I'll unfuck myself soon and get back on top of this.

Yes, it is. The first post in this thread will usually (God willing) show what book we are on, what phase we are in (reading or discussion) and the poll for the next book.

So I need suggestions for the next book. We were supposed to decide last week and have this week to procure it, but last week was a pain in my ass. Tomorrow I am going to post a poll based on any new suggestions I get before then and some left-overs from past polls. Run the poll for a few days and give everyone the weekend to get it.

Or, to translate, Arkie Proud, what the fuck you lazy asshole? ;)

I honestly thought I posted the next book. Gah...

OK, here is the plan. Today, when I get home from work, I post a new poll. Then we kick it off like normal. To be honest, it appears a lot of people have taken a hiatus, which could easily be because I have neglected this for a while. I promise to refocus this afternoon.

I may PM you, however, for some assistance colonelrascals. Thanks for the offer.
