    Yeah that's the spot.

    Ended up going there last night, they were having a soft opening for friends and family. Planned on just stopping by and having a beer and ended up staying till about 1am. Helps that everything was free.

    It looks the same as all of their other bars really. They have these awesome HD projectors that show the games on screens behind the bar. Should kill it for football, I don't really know any other bars down there that have the Ticket.

    There are usually a lot of protests right by those statues. Not sure what they signify, but I used to do a lot of work at the UN and there were always people demonstrating something right there.

    is anyone here using a local/small carrier like MetroPCS or Virgin Mobile?

    The new samsung phone is $500 on MetroPCS and the contract for 4g is like $50-$60/month. I basically never leave NYC and I'm moving to SF soon, but I think they're also well covered. Especially now, I'm not usually anywhere too long where I'm actively using my phone that I can't get wifi.

    just wondering how reception is, etc. and if others have considered switching.
