Dalton has such terrible pocket awareness. Glad we won, glad Latt is back - I assume at this point we're rolling with DA next year again, just need someone else at OC. Will say I'm looking forward to seeing Olave and Shaheed the next few years.

Yeah it's a cap move, if we cut him as a June 1 cut we can't use his cap space until June 1- this is a hey take a massive base salary paycut for $1m bonus and we're going to cut you as soon as possible so you can also be free to sign elsewhere.

It sucks, he was such a beast and then shit injury luck, bad injury management by the team, badly handled by Thomas, and just shit luck again.

I hope he signs in the AFC and has a couple more good years so he's remembered for how good he was - not just these last few years.

 

I would say it’s the worst contract in the history of the saints but he at least earned the contract. Imma go with Byrd as the worst contract in our history

The personnel packages is what bothered me the most. How many times on 3rd down and in the redzone were Kamara, Taysom, and Olave on the bench. When the game is on the line we went to Marquez Callaway.

We're not going to keep 6 season tickets next year, I couldn't give those away at the end of the year.

 

Maybe we're just quietly throwing in the towel on next season so our new head coach in 2024 can hire his own guy at OC. :(

 

I would be in favor of going with Carr.

 

Im fine with it depending what it looks like. Trading and taking in that contract is not ideal, so hopefully some of that gets worked out. Also we better not be giving up a first. We shall see I guess
